Hey man keep doing what u doing with your son man. That will be a life long memory for him. My daddy had his own auto repair shop when i was around your boys age. I always wanted to do that type of stuff with him but his shop was just to busy an he didn't have the time. That's good fathering man. He will always remember that and he will gain the needed knowledge for engines as well

From Experience with Caprices there is a useful feature called “ engineering mode” hold the scroll button on the left of the steering wheel while the key is in the off positon then while holding turn it to the on postion you’ll enter the screen where a lot of info is available you can still start it while in engineering mode to exit just press the mode button

How in the hell do you do so much in most of your videos? You do more in one video than some car KZbinrs do in 5. No "Part 17 of our Nissan Build!!!" or "Will She Turn Over - LS2 Part 361!!!". I sold a few BMWs and a few Mercedes. With the exception of the old import/drive converted diesel Merc, I wouldn't have touched any of them with a 10 meter cattle prod. You ALMOST make me want to buy a project, but there's no way in hell I would without a lift or a garage, for that matter. Excellent content. I hope 2020 brings a millions subs to your channel.

The sound of your engine's first start was reminiscent of when I pulled, rebuilt (with some help from my sons whow were in HS), and first started the engine (after a few days of troubleshooting) in my 88 IROC with new Dyno Don headers. We all work on cars in our own way but some things are important to do for the life of the engine. Priming the oil after putting in new cams and such is one of those things you must do before firing the engine. However, some people don't do it. I've seen people just fire it off and rev it up and some time later wonder why something broke. Lol oil is the life blood of the engine.

Solo exhaust. The funny looking pipes are called "J-Pipes". Those are there to reduce drone. That resonator is actually their muffler. VCM intakes are NICE. I prefer the OTR intakes simply because of the lower IATs. Ive tuned cars with Rotofab and OTR intakes and the difference in the IATs is quite stunning. The air from the radiator heatsoaks the MAF pretty badly. BTW, Im a G8 owner. Your PPV is basically a G8. And your PPV sounds pretty damn good! LOL!

The J-pipes people are technically called Helmholtz resonators. Besides doing some noice cancelling, they also allow the exhaust air move a bit faster, helping with better flow and reduced backpressure. It follows the same principle as when you blow above the mouth of the bottle. Ic it makes a sound, you're doing it what J-pipes are supposed to do.
