Mahalo to Marek Health for sponsoring my blood panels, peptide therapy, and medical support.
I have never used TRT or PEDs, and even though recent blood tests have shown I have low available testosterone and growth hormone levels, I will not be using TRT, HRT, or PEDs as part of my treatment protocol.

Thanks for sharing your stuff Bill. I’ve had cancer twice. Rare aggressive. Fasting and sauna helped pull me back. I had 3 surgeries. 12 months ago I shattered my talus broke my T 9 and lost 40 mm off my height. Also dislocated my R shoulder. I fly a paraglider.I’m back in the gym doing ring dips, animal flow and working as a PT. I’m back in the air flying too. I’m 62 this year. I enjoy the work you are doing. You share a lot of good stuff. Ups and downs are bound to come. I have pain, mobility challenges and have learned that pain means I’m alive and reminds me I’m alive. My wife has been a great supporter I’m sure you’ll overcome. Best wishes

hey. I've just ordered the oral versions of BPC157 & TB500 in the hopes that it can help fix my long-standing arm tendon problems, Physios and Doctors haven't helped or sustained recovery exercise plans so I'm hopeful that the peptides might help change things and get me back to a full range of training and maybe stop my work activities causing flare-ups too. I'm probably asking a lot to fix 19 years of dodgy tendons!

61, doing TRT for a couple years…just enough to keep me in the middle of normal range. I am Vegan and eat pretty healthy. The only supplement I take is creatine. Besides a painful left hip flexor, I feel fantastic. I get my blood checked often because I have deep vein thrombosis. I keep careful track of my hemaglobin levels and if it goes over 15, they take half a liter of blood. That and Eliquis keeps my blood thin enough. I also do HIT a la Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates, and it is almost miraculous, if you like strength training and body building.

I applaud you for having the courage to explore these "medications" or enhancement drugs. Obviously you're suffering from extreme pain so you're searching for solutions to eradicate the pain. At 70 I still work out 6 days weekly, no real major issues except every now and then some slight irritation from a lateral meniscus tear. In my 30 years plus of resistance training I just stayed away from heavy weights, always thought they'll have an effect as I age, Ronnie Coleman as an example. Deadlifts are a great compound movement but it always intimidated me, ha. I just stick with full body dumbbell workouts plus HIIT training. So the big question, are you refraining from the usual heavy lifting? What type of workout modifications are you making. All the very best, hopefully these "meds" will prove worthy!! James
@JeffMartinez648
@JeffMartinez648 4 ай бұрын
I have to agree, just turned 58 & had knee replacement in November 23, four months ago, & I don’t care about the heavy lifting anymore, but the ability to get strong and stay strong & not have my muscles become catatonic. I’ve increased my protein, zeroed out my carbs and the inflammation in my joints is gone. Started a 3x5 workout routine and after two weeks I see great gains, however instead of working out 3 times a week I allow myself more rest time of 3-1/2 days between workouts. This so far has been great, sleep better, feeling better & not dragging butt from exhaustion. Getting old isn’t for the weak, nobody cares, stay strong, work smarter!

Aloha Bill, I really appreciate the candid documentation of your treatment. I have never heard of peptide treatment therapy and now I am very interested in how it affects your health and in particular your peripheral neuropathy, although your current plan may not specifically address that condition. Best Wishes and Aloha! If you have the time read on, just me rambling about background information…. I started following you a few months ago to get different ideas for workouts (which are super helpful!) and now you have spiked my curiosity about this peptide treatment. Two years ago, at age 56, I developed a strange burning sensation in my toes that is (oddly) correlated to how warm I let my feet get. Over the past year I have seen several neurologists and other doctors and after many tests have come up with zilch… so it is considered idiopathic peripheral neuropathy.. Anyhow, I am very healthy, 6’-1” , 175lbs and mountain bike over 1,300 miles each year, with no significant medical history worth mentioning so the sudden onset of PN is rather frustrating and perplexing…. I’m always on the lookout for a possible treatment so I just checked and it appears the C3 peptide therapy could be helpful for PN injuries although mine specific condition wasn’t from an injury… Anyhow maybe worth a try…I want to thank you for making me aware of a potential treatment!

The first effect my 93yo father repoeted was that he was once again having regular, daily bowel movements. He has been able to skip his pain pills multiple days, with a 4 day record in a very long time. I started him at 0.1 mg of each and increased daily by 0.1mg. until qe got to 0.8mg daily until we finished the first 10mg of each. He wanted to continue, so i ordered him more. He has been doing 1mg of each daily for about 7 days and reported that his overall pain level has decreased by 33%. He is one of these old stoic depression era man's men so for him to say it decreased at all is a tremendous thing. He is going to continue with another 10mg of each at the same daily dose. Hope you're followed by a medical professional (i.e a doctor, ideally a specialist) whom you made aware of what substances you're taking. You're saying in the video, effects of taking those substances should only become apparent after weeks, still you seem to believe it's been helpful after a couple of days. I'd avise you approach this very critically, as there is definitely a chance you're experiencing a placebo effect here. I guess it's too early to say, but do consider that the long-term adverse effect might not be worth benefits you don't know for sure are attributed to the drugs.
@engineeredtruths8935
@engineeredtruths8935 4 ай бұрын
You talk like a professional but you clearly know little to nothing about peptides or PEDs. This guy is experienced and has already been taking testosterone and maybe other things as well. Peptides are very safe if theres no underlaying cancer present in the body. And if you did 10minute research youd know that the effects can start happening within a week. Generally its annoying to try school people when you made zero efforts to educate yourself on the subject.

@@engineeredtruths8935 You seem to be new to the channel, Bill Maeda has said before he never took testosterones. By his own claims, his physique was achieved naturally. You're right, I'm not a medical professional but clearly you're not either. There's a variety of peptides you can procure, I have little knowledge of those substances but blanket statements such as "peptides are very safe" are irresponsible at the very least. Furthermore, you don't need to be a doctor to understand that every indivual might respond differently, and that age, sex, existing conditions and medical history all matter here. The bodybuilding world will teach you PED use is far from being safe, as we've seen from the health issues or deaths of many athletes over the years. Now Bill's consumption might not be on the same scale and it might be fully different drugs, but being followed by a medical professional is the least one can do. I'm just advocating for general caution here.
@cdcaleo
@cdcaleo 4 ай бұрын
Bill has clearly, and repeatedly, stated he is working with a medical team overseeing every aspect of his peptide journey. I don't know how much more clarity you need. As far as peptides, BPC157 and TB500 have been used by hundreds of thousands of people in the sports medicine field for years now, and they usually produce outstanding results. The worst thing Bill might experience is no effect at all, in which case he discontinues use.@@guico33
