Those fruits are delicious but I was having the same smoothie from all vegetables and fruits and my sugar went to the roof. The doctor prescribed me Metformin but I refused and started instead with a low carbs diet which worked and in 6 months my sugar was normal again.

fruit sugar needs to have minimal fats or sugar can become a problem; I am nearly fruitarian (fruit for breakfast, lunch and midnite snack, but I eat very little fat, and my blood sugar is usually between 95 and 106-8. I follow lots of teachers over many years and this is my fave food, i.e., fruits.

Being from Europe, I can totally relate to her china cup and saucer style. The biggest problem I had when living in the US was to find a café that would serve a coffee in a china cup with saucer. Sometimes they would dig up a china cup from somewhere on the bottom of their shelves, all dusty, with a saucer that didn't match the cup, and washed it for me. :-) I really appreciated that, as having a coffee in a plastic or paper cup totally ruins my experience of enjoying coffee!

I recently found a fantastic app called mealime (no typo) and put myself as a flavarian. This is someone who eats predominantly fruits & veges with small amounts of meat and dairy. This seems to be Melania's diet. I am loving my new diet and the mayo clinic diet fits this model perfectly. Not only am I cooking more, having more variety in meals, and enjoying it, but also saving money as the app generates shopping lists and you can delete stuff you already have. it also has simple recipes that don't require exotic ingredients, but ones I have on hand. I feel much better on this type of diet, but I do still have packaged food for convenience or taste at times.

Of course, Jakie Kennedy was quite stylish, however, she did not have the same level of classic beauty or physical features as Melania has. It was a different time in history. If Jackie Kennedy would have lived at the same time as Melania, I imagine not much would be different about her. She was a standout, a trendsetter in her day, especially when she wore her pillbox hats, gloves, and clutch handbags. Jackie was most definitely a close second, mainly due to her tomboy, athletic side, which is wonderful and amazing, and a great outlet for her, but it did tilt her in that direction more than not because that's where her heart truly was, riding horses in the woods, sailing, riding bicycles, playing tennis, etc., whereas Melania's business was all about fashion, modeling, designing jewelry and accessories, and running her own businesses. That all changed of course when her husband ran for president.

Soda was in glass exclusively until the '80s. Are you in your 50s like me? We didn't grow up with plastic. We took our bottles to get a return. Remember that? It helped encourage recycling. It's amazing that where I live, it was actually a better time to recycle in the '70s than later on. We had a recycling center in town and my dad would save our newspapers. I remember a machine at one point where you could put in tin cans and they would get crushed and you would get money back! Coolest thing but short-lived.

A Vitamix compared to all other blenders is like comparing a private plane to a commercial jet. I have made frappucinos, soups, smoothies, salad dressings, sauces, etc. The froth is amazing.
