Herman couldn't fit into the driver's seat so they had to remove it to fit him behind the wheel. It's no wonder there were very few episodes that showed him driving. Both vehicles used on the show are still around today.

@Carmela Szymanski Although I grew up as a kid during the 1970s this show brings back happier times. I can't wait to see the Munsters clip where as soon as Herman was placed in a jail cell...all the cellmates completely LOST THEIR SH** as they attempted to break out of their cell. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

As a kid in the 1960's this was one of the shows I'd watch, mostly the other few channels didn't have much so we played outside a lot, but this was funny, my other favorites then we're Superman and Batman.

So in America you can. Drive unaccompanied to a test centre to take your test? We can't do that in the uk.. A provisional licence holder can only drive if accompanied by a full licence holder and L plates have to be attached to the vehicle he or She is driving
