Just a little something that might help. Stalactites are the hanging one because they hold TIGHT to the ceiling. And Stalagmites and the floor ones because you MIGHT trip over them.

Stalagmites are mighty as they rise from the floor Stalactites hang on tight to the ceiling so they do not fall. This is how I remember which is which 😁
