I have been watching mainly iskall and etho and stress and all of them just do so much I didn't think vault hunters was for me but watching you play where you're not doing anything cheeky and just taking your time through the dungeon makes me feel like I can actually play it. I hope this comes across as a compliment because that was the goal.

you can play at your own pace for sure, I watch most hermits playing VH and everyone has their own style, I've been a minecraft fan of youtubers for years, vaulthunters is the only mod pack thats convinced me to actually play, 6 months strong everyday so far lol

A slow play style is totally valid in VH. You can get quite far playing it slow and steady, however the more you play the more tricks you figure out that helps increase the speed at which you play. Like for example in the mid game with max speed talent and some mods unlocked such as storage mods and modular routers, they give a huge boost to raw movement speed and "de-looting" speed between vaults... thus speeding up your play style naturally. The same holds true for just gaining game experience from playing the game. You'll get the hang of things and at some point could totally be as focused and speedy as Iskall, Etho and Stress.

You can play slow. But you’re going to run a lot more vaults to get to level 100. Less than 50 chests and 30k is just bad. Leveling is exponential and to get from 90100 is the same amount as 1-90.

If you want to fully utilize Hunter you'll need regret flasks or the ability to make them between vaults. The idea is to roll in with base Hunter and depending on the vault or objectives you push as far as you can until you really need X type of chest, then you take the specialization that corresponds with X to help finish off the harder to find objective type and complete the vault. After the vault you would add using a regret flask to remove the specialization of Hunter to your After Vault Chores.

Hello xb :) Don't forget that putting Jewels and Vault gear in disks can risk breaking the chunk. (I am not sure if you were told this) If I remember right, max 1000 in 1 chunk, or you can risk perma crashing every time you open your system.

If you are concerned about the cost of recovering your items if you die in the vaults, then it might be worthwhile to try and get soulbound as an implicit on your weapon and gear pieces. That way they don't contribute to the cost of recovering your items. With soulbound on all your current armor, sword, and magnet your recovery cost would drop by 71 gold.

Don't forget that with all that stuff you're getting from the dolls, you can apply seals to your crystals so you can focus on Elixer or Braziers or your preferred way of completing vaults. Also gear that you're not using can be easily smelted down to scrap, and a surplus of scrap can be smelted down to soul shards. Everything is useful, even when it's not. And also also... don't forget the Catalyst and Inscription mechanisms. You can easily build the perfect vault and get all the resources of a type that you need. Don't overlook modifying crystals, as it's one of the most powerful tools in the game.

When they say to respec your hunter skill they mean your specialization. One of them highlights braziers, god alters, scav turn in tables, and loadstones. So when you enter a room you use the hunter ability to scan for potential loadstones so you don’t waste as much time going up and down to check

In that first coin POI you go to where there's coins on top if you remove the concrete powder there's a guilded chest hidden under the powder

At a certain level the loadstones no longer appear in the middle of rooms. They're either upstairs or downstairs

Since you're not using much ability power, I suggest taking the Storm Arrow specialisation that freezers mobs. It won't kill then, I think, but will delay them and make them take more damage.

XB, I think your feedback on elixir vaults would be extremely valuable to Iskal. He thinks they’re reasonable but your play style is much more chill than his. I’m with you, Not all of us want to sweat in every single vault 😂

As an example iskal averages like 300 chests per vault, which is insanely high.

@@drowningpenguin1588it’s not insanely high. Especially at his level. You can casually get 150-200 chests by around level 65. At that point you have access to tools that allow for a lot of jewels to be put in them. So instamining of ores, all chests except wooden which is close to instant. You should also have trinkets to help w/ movement w/in the vault. Either wings or a prismatic feather. I do agree that Elixr sucks. But that’s because it’s based to much in RNG. You never know what will be a jackpot. It could only be Tier 3 dungeon mobs. And you never know how large the bar actually is. It doesn’t change in size but the amount you need to fill it is a RNG roll as well. I seem to either get a vault where nothing is a jackpot or everything is.

You should use your dash more to get around quicker. I know you have speed 4 but it can still save you a lot of time rather then running everywhere and back to the top of vaults

You looted a total of 43 chests in that vault. It probably takes double or triple that amount to beat a scav. I can't do it either, but there are always seals. You can force the crystal to give you a type of vault you prefer.

He needs tripple that amount just for normal leveling. There is no way to complete a scav w/ barely any chests like that.

I have found that when you seem to be unable to find a lodestone or monolith (pre update13) or a scavanger table, if you get off the "main lines" and on to the neighboring lines youll tend to find more objective points. By main line i mean the 4 cardinal directions you can go in the first real room of a vault. Lets say you have a northward facing vault, if you were to go east or west 1 room and then run the line north it seems to have a better chance of finding an objective point. At least thats how it seems to feel to me in my many hours of playtime, it just seems like anytime i wander off the "main path" ill find more of what im looking for... most especially in Update 12 and below with monoliths, once completed and heading back home on a different line ill find a monolith in every room after struggling hard to find the hanful of monoliths on the main paths. So idk, its worth a shot.

I legit wrote a 1000 word comment. I am not going to rewrite it LOL Suffice to say: loved the lengthy come back episode. Don't worry about dying. You have enough gold to revive 3 times and you've got a steady stream of income from your dolls. More dolls, more gold. Never worry about dying again. You never have to play Scavs again. You can choose every vault objective by making Seals and applying them to your vault crystal in an anvil. You already knew this so it's just a gentle reminder since you really get distressed by Scavs. (You don't have to like them, don't let anyone pressure you into playing what you don't find fun to do.) Seal of the Scout = Light the Brazier Seal of the Sage = Elixir Rush Seal of the Confectioner = Cake Seal of the Executioner = Hunt the Guardians Seal of the Architect = whatever you want! If you have any omega room inscriptions that would be fun to see you loot a couple of mushroom rooms or cove rooms. :) I'm watching Iskall's stream right now and he just mentioned that he's going to remove Scavs from the pool. One last thing I remember saying in the previous comment... everytime you say "brassiere" in the Brazier vaults I picture you looking around for the singular bra that's in the vault xD Please don't get me wrong, if you're saying it like this for fun, do keep on keeping on! But in case if not, it's pronounced BRAY-zhur with the emphasis on the first syllable. "Zhur" rhymes with sure but the consonant sounds like juh not shuh. ^_^

I would rebuild. Maybe try intelligence/poison nova/toxic reaction/sorcery/life leech/blight/taunt/mana shield. All your gear needs updating.

Multiple fundamental focus on a Scrappy sword, such a waste. Even if it had a legendary damage roll it’s still a waste. Their cost is too high to be used on anything below rare. Invest in a deposit upgrade for your bags. Or have AE2/Moduiar routers handle emptying your bags.

I still like elixir, its just annoying to fill the bar and not be able to find a thing to complete. Have never liked Scav vaults though.

@@xBCrafted yeah. I’m there too. Elixir > cake > brazier > Guardian > scav for me. I enjoy it because everything you unalive / loot normally also helps you meet the elixir goal.

Block chance is great but for your current build and play style it doesn't match. I believe ability powered builds require a lot of cool down and are better for late game than early and mid. If you notice yourself taking so much damage it's because of the crit damage. You basically have zero crit resist. And your death at the end, you got juggled because you have no knock back resistance. Lol. All stats that most people take for granted but you gotta choose your positives and negatives. I feel like your build is great if you are running vaults with others but playing by yourself you will and can literally get killed fast. Best of luck! I believe that you can get to level 100!!!
