While I don't have a picture book out with Chronicle, I do have a new comic that should be announced in the next couple of weeks. I also plan to do a lot more mini comics. I had too much fun putting that one together. And I have started writing/ thumbnailing out the second Baboon book. Thanks for the kind words, guys!

Glad to see you to read the mini comic book of Mason Dickerson (found this video by typing this name). I found him randomly a few months ago, loved his artworks, and he’s not much active. Also he’s not selling anything this time and since a long time

Picked up that Print issue back when I was a graphic design major decades ago. It's great!

I think that Moreno cover artist is Pepe Moreno, a Spanish creator. He did a book titled Rebel, design work for Thundercats and/or Silverhawks, etc. He's also the guy who wrote and drew Batman: Digital Justice. Then he went away for a while. Found him on Facebook, still active and doing freelance stuff.

Hey Ed, that ink I think you might have talked about on JET is called Thermography... at least I think that is what is is based on your description. There was a printer in FL who did cheap thermography for a long time. And thanks for the Pope Hats plug. LOVE HeroesCon!

This was so energizing...beautiful art, beautiful printmaking. I remember that issue of Print had sections by Spiegelman and Groth among others, a cool find. The August 1972 issue (#159) of the Euro design magazine Graphis focused on comics and was expanded into a hardcover that is probably still findable. It was the first time I'd ever seen Philippe Druillet art and it about killed me.

Jason Hamlin was at C2E2 this past year too... He was by far the best dealer at that show, and the guy I spent the most money at! Anyone know if he has an online web store?

Will Jungkuntz died of sudden illness at age 30. He didn't get to finish the Blood & Gutz feature he was running in Savage Tales.

Interesting to see your finds. I was surprised Raw had put out some of those other issues (although probably should not have been since they are numbered). I have two of them, one being a #8, the other a #1 (I think it is).

Jim you skipped right over super-early James O'Barr in that Gasm mag! Also, seek out Savage Tales vol 2 #4 for his only Marvel work.
