Along with thanking Peter, people should also be grateful to Ming Moreland (the lady translating in the video and originally a Taiwanese native) and it is she and husband Mark that run U.K. Bonsai association and the Heathrow and Expo bonsai shows here in the U.K. and organised much of this trip. So many thanks to Ming and Mark and their contacts for Peter being able to bring us these videos.

Unbelievable….. Breathtaking, what other bonsai masters have done. Some trees, take a lifetime of work. Other large trees, take several lifetimes of several masters work!

I think you'd like the Lake Merrit Bonsai Museum in Oakland, California. Occasionally, you mention an interest in how the nature of North American pines differ from European and Asian pines and that museum only features bonsai and garden trees made from plants native to Northern California.

Stunning 😮 at 36:07 why they keep humid tissues on the trunk? After a minute the lady tries to explain but i dont understand. That part will rot if constantly wet. I see chopped trunk to do jin maybe. But miss why wet the upper trunks. Thanks
