No police report, no medical records, no vision documentation. That vehicle is old and the damage is prob just wear and tear. Even the insurance claim was denied. Hard to believe the plaintiff but the defendant driving off didn’t help her case.

This is the equivalent of mediation where both parties agree to dismiss their cases and choose mediation (or People's Court). Semantics aside, he is lying. He couldn't get a witness to come = he couldn't find anyone to confirm the lie. That hypothetical witness would then become just as guilty as the defendant.

I kept thinking about it (don't know why, LOL) but when I went to the store today, & I was pushing my cart back to my vehicle, I passed several smaller cars & sure enough, had I ran in to a smaller car, it would have knocked into the mirror. I have a Tacoma & as you pointed out about trucks, the cart would not even come close. But the plaintiff was such a BIG liar, broken glasses, broken cell phone AND "broken knees" (HUH?) @@xonx209 Taking good evidence photos is tricky. The typical amateur photographer looks at whatever he or she wants to show in the viewfinder or screen, but what's visible in the finished photo to a second party may be quite different. Angle and lighting often make the actual evidence hard to see.

Mirror glued on, otherwise cart would have only dented it at the most. Judge ruled against defendant more likely because she left instead of waiting for the cops. Cops would’ve noticed mirror glued on. As the judge said, defendant made having to pick up the kids sound life a life and death occasion.

I’m familiar with the Orthodox community. I was shocked that the defendant touched Douglas for the demonstration. Generally, men and women are forbidden to touch the opposite sex unless it’s their spouse or immediate family members.

She probably tapped the mirror and it fell off. The car is ancient and he was just trying to get cash out of her. I wouldn't be surprised if the mirror was already practically falling off when she walked by it. Leaving the scene didn't help her case but sometimes when you need to go pick up your kids you have to go.

The defendant strikes me as someone who does not hear the word "no" very often. The plaintiff was a bit shady as well, though - and the judge knew it.
