The compresson in a honda motor is bananas for instance take a k24 and put on a k20 head and the compression is 10:1 them engines love boost. but even if you cant squeeze 3000hp out of a honda engine you can get over 1000hp and the are light so the can out run a good amount of cars on the track

Just wanted to comment that I've been watching Cleetus for a long time. Since the begging of his channel honestly. When this incident first took place naturally I went with the pack and felt that he intentionally burned him down. (which by his own admission he made cleetus pay for going in early, but I also understand that cleet really didn't give him any curtesy and light both bulbs straight off the rip.) After watching a few interviews with HiBoost and hearing the interaction before and after the race, then the next day in the pits. Im a little saddened by how that all went down. As someone who used to drag race Harleys in the AHDRA with my father this is all racing norm. I will continue to be a fan of cleet however, I'm now also going to be following HiBoost. Dude seems like the real deal. Awesome interview!

Back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, my friends and I were driving Hondas in High School with swap B16 or B18 motors. Hiboost hit the target when he said it was all we could afford so we all drove Hondas. Some people today still give Hondas no respect. I have been watching cleet for years. I remember seeing this live and watching him lose, I was originally upset and thought High Boost cheated. I was sent this and it changed my whole perspective. At the end of the day Cleet made a mistake and paid for it, It may have been over 7 seconds but the light didnt go red. It was kinda upsetting to hear that cleet did what he did after and didnt show any respect, and High Boost has a point at the end of the day its a race and cleet has the money to come back next year and try to win. I am a muscle car person and still dont understand why people hate on hondas, 1700 hp in a 4 cylinder is wild. I definitely think some people should start looking at the other side of the story and not just litsen to only one side. I will still watch cleet and root for him but I definitely will be more open minded next time.

Watching the low-class fan base that Hondas have make excuses and hate on Cleetus for no other reason than trying to distract from the embarrassment that their fan base actually is. They "Won" by racing dirty and then proceeded to act like low-class animals after they won. On that question about how much it costs to run a Honda at an event. The people you ask think what it costs them and not so much a general cost and even still its a tough answer. Youd have to ask them "can you give me a rough breakdown of what it costs to be competitive at different levels and what is a fundamental aspect or view you need to have" Alot of us try to build a car that will work for both street and track and it pretty much never works out if you want to be competitive in either way. Just because a car goes fast on a no prep does not mean it will go fast or faster at a prepped track. If you want to build a car to have fun in and not take it serious but still want to win or atleast be in the ballpark it can cost as little as 4k-5k into a build, youre most likely not going to need a spare motor or trans unless it was already on its last leg but at that point you cant count it as a cost to race because youre not swapping out a motor if youre not being competitive and just doing it for fun only. Example you take a bone stock healthy single cam civic d16z6 or d16y8, put together a pretty cheap turbo kit that has some good parts like your wastegate, and a pulsar turbo, thats about 2k. Tune tires and ecu 1.5k-2k. Source some used dsm injectors and go hood exit exhaust or even a full exhaust for $500 and a decent clutch for $700. Now you have a 300-350hp civic you can beat on and have fun with just under $5k. You can enter the 12.50 or bracket class with
