Nemesis has to sustain VERY heavy damage in order to be killed. A BFG 10,000 would do (not a BFG 9000). Nemesis is slow when he's attacking but he has super human abilities and he is a lot more intelligent than his other predecessors. Getting close to Nemesis means death no matter who or what you are unless you're like Goku or Azura or some shit like that. Nemesis also regenerates hella fast sort of like Deadpool unless of course he sustains a lot of damage although he would morph. If the Master Chief and Doom Slayer kept their distance they would be alright in a fight again Nemesis.

Gamer Boy Div good question. The Gravemind wanted to use him and Arby as tools. If Chief tried to break free, Gravemind would likely just capture him with absolute ease again with another tentacle. There wasn’t really any hopes of escaping him at that point, and Chief new that, so he had to play his cards right, which he did.

MrReyno Tanks That is true but I’ve done research on both to see how strong and fast they are, they are around the same speed but physically Nemesis is stronger and Chief has to use power ups or extra shields to defend, and the only one of those weapons that are powerful enough for final form is the Incineration Cannon Cuz it’s got the best destructive calc out of the three Forerunner weapons but the other two can atomize him piece by piece since even tho they are weaker he has no defense against atomization, and they could probably easily kill his earlier stages. But he would have to be smart, lucky, and tactical keeping away from Nemesis enough to get the hits off. So the fight could go either way But without them then it’s more likely Nemesis would win and Rip John out of his armor to finish him or crush him inside of it.

Nemesis crushes zombies and Jill with ease while being able to stop a car initially. Chief can go toe-to-toe with Sangheli and Brutes in futuristic armor, though the Brutes give him massive trouble, and can accidentally kill trained soldiers without his armor if they aren't Spartans. I think Nemesis would definitely give Chief some trouble and surprise him, but it isn't much of a stretch to say Chief would win. Especially with how efficient he is with weapons that Nemesis won't even know the function of.

As far as I can tell, the Flood don't like GMO... Jokes aside, the flood seem to not be able to infect gene modded creatures, like spartans, and some of the forerunner created creatures, like the engineers. So It stands to reason that the flood may not be able to infect Nemesis for the same reasons.

@@Cha-Khia That is a misconception, all organic beings can be infected by the flood, it is just that, with the Spartans, there alterations made them harder to infect compared to your common marine or other "normal" organic beings like elites, brutes and grunts. And when it comes to the Engineers, they are not fully organic, having nano sized versions of things like there nerves system. And when it comes to, if the T-virus can infect the flood super cell, well considering that the T-virus was created by humans AND has a cure, while the Flood super cell was created by trans sentient gods AND has no cure whatsoever...yeah i think it is pretty clear who will infect who. (Also the fact that the Flood basically consumed an entire galaxy, while the T-virus only infected, at most, a single planet kinda backs it up, has well.)

That was a different set of armor, so it would make sense in that case. If you've seen videos of Spartan IV armor, it becomes obvious as to why Master Chief is weaker. The armor has a set limit for strength and speed as going any further would not only damage the armor, but the user as well. In that armor's case, it was built for Spartan IV's who did not undergo the same augmentations and training that Spartan II's went through. Therefore, if a Spartan II was to use that armor, it would effectively "nerf" their abilities. If the Master Chief was to use his mark IV or mark V armor from the original trilogy, he would have handily won that fight.

@Casey Collier Chief got an upgrade to his Mark IV in halo 4 (Cortana ‘updated’ the suit while he was in Cryo) and another upgrade after that in 5 (a gen 2 model of the same suit with the same mods Cortana installed), while Locke is wearing a set of Hunter-class MJOLNIR armor. I’m pretty sure Chief should’ve still easily overpowered Locke, since his armor from the OG series actually got better in 4 and 5. I could be mistaken though, as I’m not a lore expert and I’m not super familiar with the specific differences between different grades of MJOLNIR

@@quinn8599 I agree with you about the armor bit, but I didn't see anything comparing the Spartan Laser with RE's rail-gun. Given that Xperia puts the Halo4/5 railgun on a similar par with the weapon Jill uses, that the Spartan Laser is far far stronger, can shoot through multiple tanks, I'd say Xperia didn't account for it. The spartan laser is by output damage, considering penetration, the strongest hand held weapon in halo. It has similar feats to the RE railgun, if not slightly better in fiction.

Take in account that Jill is only 166 cm tall which makes nemesis look like a giant, but for cheif, nemesis wouldn't be too tall. Nemesis non mutated is actually only 7ft3 tall while Cheif is ( 7 ft 2 in armor). An average elite is 8 feet tall, and brutes about 9 feet tall. Both covenant units are larger, stronger and far more technologicaly advanced than the nemesis. There's no doubt in my mind that cheif would easily take out the nemesis regardless of the circumstances.

1st Amendment Brutes on average are 10 to 14ft tall and have armor which is virtually indestructible to average weaponry and they are capable of ripping through titanium and are capable of throwing 35 ton tanks like the scorpion and are about as fast if not faster than Spartans. I doubt so

@@ironmenace8883 I don't recall a Brute ever having the capability to lift something comparable to the Scorpion, they're vastly stronger than even Spartan ll's without a doubt. Gives you a rough estimate since we have better reliable feats with Spartan ll's, making it easier to note the limitations to a brute to make comparisons and a little more believable feats. On another note, their full speed requires them to move with their arm's similar to apes. In that instance they vastly outrun a Spartan, but that leaves it wide open. Brutes have raw power, but your common brute would lose a head on fight with Nemesis. A Chief Brute on the other hand takes the cake easily, it's shields makes him practically untouchable to Nemesis. Not to mention the Gravity Hammer, now that's just a complete stomp.

This enemy was written as being defeated by a human, non-enhanced, by pure luck having weaponry that could help. Same even for SPARTANS. This is almost impossible really to make a clear answer due to one character having to be written in being defeated by finding the right weaponry at the right time. This is actually helping Chief due to his "luck". By this it is more likely Chief would more often win even in multiple scenarios when one character is only beaten by just happen to have the weaponry at the right time. The only thing I'll disagree with is the thorn piercing Chief's armor. The one time being seen, haven't played the game and only saw the cut scene in this video, the thorn only pierce's an exposed human female's arm without having any enhancements. The shield and armor would definitely handle such a thing. The energy needed to pierce the armor to reach Chief would be immense for that and would in reality go through Jill's arm and not only just into her flesh. Then can come that it mutates to make a stronger muscle to shoot these thorns? The mutation seems to only happen when severe damage is made, so i would say no. Enjoyed this video giving more interesting things to think about is always a good change of pace.

Not the case. With stronger soldiers, less powerful weaponry becomes the reason Chief loses. The soldier is the weapon in this case, and Chief doesn't meet the bill. A facade mission against a small arms threat is the sole reason why he dies. So it's more a bad scenario type fight. Chief absolutely needs high powered large arms to beat nem and needs a good supply of ammunition as well. It solely relies on those two things which he wouldn't logically have for this kind of mission.

People also seem to think the Nem is dumb??? Nem is designed for combat and still intelligent, able to make predictions. Chief may be able to outpredict and counter Nem, but that only goes on for so long.

Baby Blue He could, but according to the chiefs lore, he literally cant. Chief is a ancient precursor personality, that only shows up ever couple hundred years to get a job done, in different people. It is literally impossible to beat the personality until it’s mission is complete, like yeah, you can get pretty close, but if you fight it during its task, there is no way you can win. The chief though, even without the personality is an already strong human, incredibly skilled in almost any classification. He will definitely put up a fight with doom guy, but to say he would win could be a stretch

The Flood at it's peak had access to Precursor Technology which could split planets in two. The Flood is one of the most powerful things in Sci-Fi, they are up there with the strongest factions in WH40K. Doom Guy and Chief would get fucked so badly it wouldn't even be funny.

@@noobguy9973 The things in WH40K are ridiculously powerful, capable of destroying planets and star systems with ease, the factions in 40k would eviscerate the entire DOOM franchise with barely any effort. With that in mind, The Flood can keep up with and beat most things in WH40K. When the Flood reaches the Intergalatic Stage they have access to technology which shapes how physics work, they can extend time, control slipspace, drive intelligent beings to the point of suicide with it's vast knowledge, rip apart planets with Star Roads, corrupt even the most advanced AI and turn them to the Floods cause, et cetera. The Flood is literally an Eldritch Abomination which can only be fully defeated by things like The Culture and The Xeelee, Doom Slayer loses, case closed.
