Another reason that tank plunging itsself into md tank range for the interrupt was so good it it force that tank to go north and allowed him to get the edge on those properties in the south he was impinging on, giving him an easy way to finish those caps in peace

Personally, I would've built a couple recons instead of tanks. They're just as effective at interrupting captures, but don't cost as much when they get destroyed! A recon in the middle can be especially devastating because you can send it in either direction. Cool video all the same. Looking forward to more!

You're right recons are great for that too! In this situation I think the tank was better though because it survives to perform a second interrupt, also gives more charge than the recon would. Also thanks for the comment!

@@atruebossawbw The thing about recons is they could have been built sooner and in more places. There's a LOT of shoals and other 1-cost tiles on this map, so mobility isn't a problem for them. They do have the problem of losing outright to tanks, but as this is high funds, medium tanks are much more important anyway. I think both players invested in too many early tanks.

HF feels like playing on Caustic Finalle... every single time BUT even more chaotic. Its fun and refreshing, however I think the skill gap is way higher than standard right now, there were several matches where I lost at turn 8 just due to a bad opening, I kept playing because I hope my oponents would make a mistake, didn't happened T.T

I’ve made the swap to play exclusively. Feels so much more deep. You can counter neo tanks by building 2 mdtanks and a copter, you can build a bomber, you can spam a bunch of artys. You can actually afford sea units too which, still not viable can be good if you want to rebuild infantry but don’t want to sit on your cash.

One thing u can add to your future videos: I guess a lot of people watching awbw content on yt aren't that active on awbw. So it would be a good idea to explain some more stuff in the beginning before replay commentary, like for example the map, the capture chains, important points for attillery.... Deejus is a great example in that regard, he does this in his video which is really helpfull for beginners and since capture chains and the opening is so important in high funds, I would really appreciate such a kind of intro :)

First video i saw from you, uf you want more people in high funds i would recommend you reach out to Deejus or Mangs, but first find a great/ certified banger match that demonstrates the nuances of high funds so you could co-commentate with deej or Mangs, or maybe ask them to get on a match with you and you guys commentate over it, like both deej amd mangs made videos with other high performing players on standard or fog, why not give it a try? Im more of a Fog Player myself, but maybe eventually you can win me over and ill can go from a high funds tolerator to a high funds enjoyer, cheers from Brazil.

Will you do an analysis on hidden city? That tank interrupting the infantry cap being useful is something I learnt for the first time. Guess I'll start using it.

Hidden City is a map where the bases are multiple turns from the front lines, so funding isn't as important on that map since the investment in units takes longer to pay off. It's also quite large with a lot of funding and tends to have deathball vs deathball games so SCOP CO's are very good picks!

I mainly play FOG match and I don't like high funds match that much because it's too chaotic and in ranked there is no high found FOG match I believe. It's cool for maps that have naval units tho.

There is a HF Fog league that is organised by Kantbei in the AWBW Discord server. It doesn't count to GL rating but Kantbei will keep up with your wins/losses.

High funds is fun, but it is also way too chaotic for my taste, at least for now. I played a couple high funds matches, won my first I think 5 or 6 matches in a row, but then the matches just got too intense for me. I resigned on my last match on 'Hidden City' in the middle of a staredown with my opponent. I'll start playing again once I get to know the meta more.
