@user-zb3lr3ke4f3 жыл бұрын
Definitely dont just start with your working weight. Always warm up, especially doing heavy barbell movements
@lukebatten51393 жыл бұрын
The way I think John does it and so do a lot of bodybuilders is the following: (and I’ve recently started doing this and it feels really good) When I’m doing my first exercise I’ll get something real light and do a set of 20 and slowly work up to a working weight, my second set will be something like 8-12 and all sets after will be between 3-5 until I get to my working weight and then I hit that. It helps keep the muscle fresh and get the joins warm. For example on DB bench as my first movement I’ll do: 25’s or 30’s for for like 20 45s for 12 55/60’s for 3-5 75/80 for 3-5 90 for my working set which is usually somewhere 10-12 reps But a lot is preference as well

Just had a Facebook video recommended to me by this “Guy” where he was screaming at a couple of kids for laughing during his set. NOT impressed. I once had two guys just like him freak out on me when I was trying to work in on one of the 5 pieces of equipment they were doing in their circuit and I wasnt hearing any of it. I stood my ground and they BOTH backed down. Then the one “pro” came up to me and apologized. I’m all about gym etiquette but just because you are a “pro” doesnt mean you are better than me! Go workout privately if you think its all about you. Doesnt seem like your type of GUY John - but I guess opposites attract? 🤷♂️
