transcribed the recipe: 400g flour (3 1/3 cups) 2 tsp baking powder (10 grams) 420 g yoghurt (1 3/4 cups) condiments (salt and pepper, also things like onion and garlic powder) mix those 4 ingredients until dough then turn that dough into a ball cut it into 8 equal balls (each one roughly weighing 105 grams) flatten the dough balls place filling on top (the filling can be anything from the egg and bacon in this video or you can experiment and try different things, like cheeses and meats, however if you do add meat you will have to cook it before placing it as a filling) seal the dough balls (kind of like bao or hot pocket) cook on a stovetop on low-medium heat (around 190°C) for 5 to 6 minutes each side (i would recommend covering the pan with a pot lid so that the heat gets trapped inside and cooks the sides, as in the video if you look closely they look undercooked) (edit: added metric conversion and a bit more detail) (edit 2: added imperial conversions into cups) (edit 3: turns out the flour cups coversion was wrong, fixed)

My only counter suggestion is that people in high altitude should cook these in an oven at a steady low temperature like 325 to 350 degrees F for about 10-12 minutes, flipping midway. Yes it is. Perhaps you should check what the actual recipe is, before spewing your uninformed false nonsense. 120gr. bacon, 6 eggs + 150gr!! . eggwhite, 420 gr. yoghurt and some cheese. The numbers and ingredients are shown in the video, just pay a little attention.

This def took me a few hours to make 😅 but worth it! I used a little less egg, sharp cheddar cheese, and turkey sausage instead of bacon! I also put mine in the oven at 350 for about 5-7 min after frying them in the pan just to make it more cooked on the inside since mine were a little thick! The tangy-ness of the Greek yogurt and dipping it in hot sauce is soooo good!!

Anyone thinking I wish it was more keto, just sub for almond flour and remove almost all the carbs. If the little sweet from almond doesn't taste right add more salt to balance it.

@@geekchick4859 a serving of almond flour which is a 1/4 cup is 6 grams of carbs. Compared to 18g carbs in a 1/4 of wheat flour. It's not perfect but it's a much better alternative. Even peanuts are not bad as half their total carbs are fiber. If you are full keto then obviously this doesn't work. Personally I just try to stay low carb so under 50g per day.

Have you actually tried this though? If so, and it worked out, I'd love to hear more details about how you pulled it off. I have quite a bit of experience with gluten free cooking/baking† and I suspect you'd be unable to make a proper dough out of almond flour. Without the gluten, it will just fall apart. You'd need to use some sort of binder like xantham gum, chia or flax seeds, extra egg, or a little bit of non toxic glue.‡ Best case scenario, they'd be super crumbly to eat, but they probably wouldn't even make it out of the pan. † My wife is gluten intolerant. Doubters need not comment. I'm ultra sceptical and she eventually convinced me. Either way, my life is easier if I just do what she says.🫡 ‡ That's a joke about AI in case you're wondering. Look it up. It's hilarious.

Keto for too long will raise your cortisol level. That's a stress hormone that can do bad things in large amounts. I think it also reacts with testosterone, too. Try to be careful how you push yourself, metabolically. Also be careful with how long you induce a strain on your body's systems.

You can do this too without the yogurt. That may be why some people are having issues with the dough. I personally wouldn't add yougurt. Also you can put a little yeast to make it come together & ensure they rise while cooking. Another lady suggested baking as well instead of frying pan

That way of cooking eggs is what I call the hotel method. Great method but the restaurant method would be better where you cook on lower heat and continuously stir, then take the eggs off the heat before they FULLY cook and they have a wet look. Very creamy. Doesn't hurt to toss in a slice of American cheese after. That's just my opinion.

I suggest keeping all ingredients, although replacing the plain flour with ground Quaker Oats (or any oatmeal equivalent). Simply blend the oats to a fine texture and use them in place of flour. This substitution will help lower the carb and calorie content while boosting the fiber and protein, making the recipe healthier and more nutritious.

Depending on what you make it with would determine the actual calories. Option 1: If you use turkey bacon (I.e. Jenni-O) would have the calories to 373 calories per pocket Option 2: using bacon such as Center Cut (I.e. Black Label brand) your calories would shoot up to 414 calories. Now of course I measured this out using Fage 0% Greek Yogurt for the dough. Option 1 Macros would look like: Protein:24.4 g Carbs: 41.4 g Fat: 10.2g Option 2 macros would look like: Protein: 28.8g Carbs: 41.4g Fat: 14.3g So, a little less protein than stated and a little more fat, carbs and calories. I only point this out because there’s recipes out there stating one thing such as the macros and calories and if people are using it thinking that that’s what they are getting (especially using these recipes for fat lose) but notice they are not losing weight then some of these recipes could be the problem. Overall, I would probably add a bit more egg white to bring the protein content up in Option 2, which would of course bring the calories up.
