you need at least a 3 day Break from Opiates then use them again they not good for everyday use i know this because i have had discussions with my retired Gp he was a good Doctor but he advice me too take a 3 day break and use plain Paracetmol or Asprin then go back to the Co-Codamol after because you can build such a tolerance which is very bad the reason why people are so dependent on this Drug as Co-Codamol contains Opium inside the tablet so you have to be cautious with these tablets and use them when you really need them before it turns into a vicious circule.

hi Sureena your videos rock! Just wondering, is amiodarone with simvastatin the only statin interaction or does it count for all statins at max 20mg. thankyou
@SureenaSpeaks5 жыл бұрын
Aww thank you! So have a look at the SPC for amiodarone under section 4.5 it states which statins to avoid :) for simvastatin specifically no higher than 20mg; and for atorvastatin, lipid levels would need to be monitored to ensure the lowest possible effective dose was used. Hope that helps! :)

Hey sureena will it be possible to do a vid on drugs which can change colours of the stools/urine or any part of the body
@SureenaSpeaks7 жыл бұрын
heya so the ones that come to mind are: Ferrous (fumarate, sulphate etc) = black stools Nitrofurantoin = Orangey urine Rifampicin = orange/red urine, saliva, sputum, tears (so contact lens wearers shouldn't wear contacts whilst on rifampicin) Triamterene = blue urine (under certain lighting) if I think of any others I'll let you know :)
