There is a large criticism of Thomas Sowell, which is that he used no evidence to support anything he ever said. He uses made up situations to argue for his points instead of using real world examples. There is a 2 hour 41 min video created by the you tube channel "Unlearning Echonomics" titled "Thomas Sowell is worse than I thought." If you truly want to hear both sides of the argument, that is the other side against Thomas Sowell.

I was worked as a carpenter for 40 years, 17 as an apprenticeship instructor. I was surprised at the number of college graduates who came into apprenticeship to earn a living wage, have medical insurance, build retirement and pay off their student debt, because their chosen field didn’t do those things.

Replacing just a little bit of a kid staring at his phone all day with just 20 minutes of Thomas Sowell would change our slowly slipping nation.

This video is 30 years old, and he said the issue has been going on for 30 years.... All the problems we are facing today are a direct culmination of an over 60 years of bad policy created by self-righteous ideologues.

Thomas was mentored by, so to speak, and friends with the late Milton Friedman, a famous economist and statesman. His parable of the pencil is a good liaten.
