First of all, that is not how you use periods. Second of all just because the Internet consensus says something sucks doesn't change the fact that whether or not something sucks is still a matter of opinion. Because you like the green lantern movie then by definition you don't think it sucks and that's okay. My point in all of this is that you shouldn't make sweeping statements like "nobody like no man's sky" or "because I like it doesn't mean it doesn't suck" because both of those are matter of opinion issues and therefore makes both statements wrong (also learn how to use a god damn period correctly)

Jared, I'd love to see you play Dwarf Fortress sometime (assuming you haven't yet) and record your progress as it is quite the hardest game to learn and master but also the most rewarding when you do know the mechanics. It's highly realistic in terms of content and it's 3-D by employing Z-level. The game has two game mode, Fortress Mode (build your own fortress and manage your own civilization of dwarves) or Adventure Mode (control a single adventurer in the world you created and do what adventurers do). It's basically a mix of every genre into one. Also, Kirby 64 Music at the beginning! :D2:10 King's Quest VI Music! 3:22 Super Mario RPG Dodo the Bird's Theme! 6:28 Yoshi's Island's Story Telling time! 8:08 E.V.O Search for Eden! +The Lunatic Fridge Fuck the One Minute Reviews. Waste of bandwidth. I don't even bother with any youtube video under 5 minutes at this point, and even then I prefer longer 10-20-30 minute videos. Hell, I'd love it if he could make his standard reviews even longer and more in-depth. These videos require more effort, are better quality and they're more worth watching, plus they keep you entertained for a longer time span. The One-Minute-Review clog up my feed more often, aren't long enough to satisfy and often just don't interest me. Watching pointless little single-minute-long "reviews" of games everyone already knows about is just not my thing either. That's also why I fucking love Jared, JonTron and a bunch of other youtubers, and why the only Screwattack videos I ever watch any more are Death Battles.

George Perakis Well, I think the one minute reviews were quite an enjoyable little mini series. They conveyed a great deal of information on a game. You could know nothing aobut a game, and then, after watching, you could easily decide whether you wanted to buy the game or not. Also, they didn't take too long to make, so he could easily make Pro-Jared videos of old school games, and then the one-minute reviews of modern games. It was great to know what ProJared knew about a bunch of modern games, without having to wait to long for another video. Jared tried doing Angry-Joe type of videos to review modern games like Beyond: Two Souls and SimCity. I would love to see more of those! I love hearing Pro Jared talk about modern games, though now he almost exclusively does retro games, which is a damn shame, because I learn so much by watching his modern reviews.

The Lunatic Fridge I don't really mind what sort of game Jared talks about in his main ProJared videos, as long as they're interesting and I didn't really know about them before he did the video. But if he just does a video on a game just because it's new and famous and people want to know his opinion on it, odds are he's not going to enjoy making the video as much as making a video about a game that actually interests him, and that's going to rub off on the quality of the final product, which will mean shitty videos and an overworked Jared. Not to mention that uninteresting, boring games make for uninteresting, boring videos in general. And I don't want to overwork Jared by having him handle a whole bunch of side project like the one minute reviews while he's trying to keep up the pace on his main videos. And I think we all prefer the main videos. Plus, sure the concept of the one minute review is kinda cool and all, if you're like IGN and lots of none-subscribers come to your channel frequently through youtube search just to find out about whatever games they're interested in. But if you're a channel working for NormalBoots alongside JonTron and other similar, subscriber-oriented channels, you're gonna want to retain the attention of your subscribers with longer and all-around interesting, quality content, not neat little packets of compressed information being delivered at a hurried pace. Those neat little packets are only interesting if you asked for them specifically in the first place. Do you understand what I'm trying to get at here?

What you said at the end reminded me of Fable 2. Sure the combat and adventure was fun in the story, but thee reason I still replay occasionally is for stuff like the morality system, and rigging the economy to get rich, and starting a family.

I love the part where he says that he loves this game because it's one of those old, rare games in which you can get rich without any form of violence. This is just before he sells a shipful of firearms to small island communities and firing cannonballs into rival ships and boarding them in a fight to the death. Love your sense of humour Jared 😂

For some reason, whenever I look at games of this more slow-paced, "realistic simulator" nature, it always brings me back to times when my mom played this one train simulator. Memories of gaming even before I had even touched a game, those overhead views of train tracks, blended with the images of Sim city 3000 were among my first exposures to games thanks to my mom. Of course, it was the Playstation that introduced me to games and have more of a leaning on action, but sometimes, I get massive cravings for games like this. These incredibly mellow games, based more around very basic shit like sailing from port to port or driving on the road for hours, delivering cargo. It's an aspect of my game collection I'm seriously mal-nourished of.
