Here's a fact, to play fisher random, you actually need to know how to play chess on the fly. Instead of regular chess where everyone memorizes the first 30 moves and calls it skill. Fisher random is the future of chess, since, unlike chess, it will take significantly longer (if ever) to be solved by computers.

If anyone missed it, Hikaru pushed his pawn to e4 instead of going rook b8 first to check the king, the king only has one square which is h2 and when the pawn moves up the bishop has a discovered attack on the king ending in checkmate.

Hikaru moved his bishop and blocked his own king from moving anywhere then Fabiano placed his rook at F8 so now hikaru lost because his king can't kill rook because bishop is protecting the rook, he can't move anywhere else because there are white pawns covering those squares
