HikeIt X9 Throttle Controller Review/EVERY MODERN 4WD NEEDS THIS!

Hey not sure if this video still has an active comment section but my hike it x9 does not work for me. Every dash light came on and car would not even drive. Had to uninstall the controller and drive around for about 30 mins just to get the lights to go away. I’ve tried disconnecting the negative port on my battery still doesn’t wanna work. Any suggestions?

Great video. One BIG feature I’m still missing across the board is a crawl control; or rather a slow speed cruise control. Something that will allow you to drive along at a 10km/h or 20km/h - either as a speed setting like cruise control or just wheel/button to raise the rpm to like… 1200rpm without operating the foot pedal. Like many owners, I use my Pajero for safaris and game viewing where you crawl along dirt roads at slow speed.

how do they compare to the EVC units for ease of install and $$$?

More modes..same installation time and cheaper if not on special🙌🏼 The new evc x has more features but over 300. Either or does the same job🙂💯

Would this unit help for manual transmission as well as auto? Or more "geared" toward auto transmission? (pun intended :P)

Will definitely work with both. I reckon you will have to switch gears a lot faster tho...not sure if that is fun or annoying 😄 Best to try and send back if not happy

@@budget4x4life where do you recommend in Australia to get reliable performance chips from?

@aussiefragrances I would never ever recommend a performance chip. Best thing to do is custom dyno tune the vehicle. If you have underlying problems for instance an exhaust block and you put a chip on you won't even notice and that restriction will most likely cause your engine to blow up 💯

Awesome congrats 👏 very easy...takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Just unplug throttle cable...plug hikeit cable in an good to go💯
