It's really great how you explain and compare one to another. Hopefully next time use dji mini 3 to take a view on the beach or above the sea. It must be fun. Thanks and always success.

Does adding these affect the DJI warranty? They do not like modifications.

The magnetic bracket has been placed wrong, the fins go horizontally not vertically to fit the shape of the camera and not adding height, plus it is more exposed especially with polarized filters that have to be rotated regularly.

glad to see these filters for it but man...that compression is crunchy. It really looks like a 1080p video.
@GreatDayForAHikeАй бұрын
Yes the compression hit this footage hard.
@MaNameizJeffАй бұрын
@@GreatDayForAHike even compared to the other DJI cams the compression is far more noticable, though. There is definitely a quality drop from their next lowest camera. I really want a neo 2 that fixes this.
@GreatDayForAHikeАй бұрын
Yes and a Neo 2 that allows for changing manual settings within the DJI Fly app and not requiring a drone controller.

Thank you for the test. I wannted to know how the filters can act using the auto mode only,. So I didn't see any value difference, it's better not to use the filter in AUTO mode. By the other side, it makes clear how these filters are so valuable when you combine them with the PRO mode using the RN N3 remote control.

I agree with you. I do not see any value of using filters if you cannot modify the shutter speed, ISO, and WB. If you use the ND filters with all setting set to Auto, the drone will just compensate for the limited light it receives. Thus, to fully utilize what these filters can do, it is necessary to use the settings available when using the RC-N3 or the Goggles 3.

@leenavarro8163 One will get the most value out of these when using with a controller since DJI currently will not allow manual variables to be set in the app only. However, these do still provide value in Auto mode because the DJI exposure algorithm on the Neo won’t just boost ISO higher to get a balanced exposure. It will also slow the shutter speed. The slower shutter speed is where the magic happens with the motion blur. Is it ideal to be able to set a static ISO to force the Neo to use a slower shutter speed? Absolutely. A static ISO and static shutter speed are even better of course, but of course currently this cannot be done unless one has a controller as you have pointed out as well. There is value for ND filters on Auto, but, yes, the maximum value is achieved with an external controller and setting values manually.

Could I just have ND16, applied 24/7, what do you think ? If so or if not, why? Please
@GreatDayForAHike2 ай бұрын
In general during bright conditions, yes. If you are using a controller where you can manually adjust parameters including ISO, shutter speed, and sharpness then you would want to fine tune the ND filter to your specific parameters and lighting to get a balanced exposure.
@ianbenton43502 ай бұрын
You could use a UV filter the same as on a slr camera lens. Acts as a lens protector also.
@Shooting-Up15 сағат бұрын
It didn’t give motion blur in any of those clips, all it did isboost iso and lose quality You need manual shutter and iso to get motion blur ergo the rcn3 controller
@kerusso35683 ай бұрын
Are you able to check the ISO though the phone app? Freewell sells the 3 pack nd vs ndpl, would it make sense to by the ndpl if only buying one set?

Regardless of the efforts made, the DJI NEO's camera and image processor leave much to be desired, resulting in disappointing performance save your money people ...firmware is so shitty majority of DJI NEO are becoming a run-away drones....

Wich filter I need use by clouds? CPL?

CPL should work well in this use case and help reduce glare and haze.
