excellent. nothing like running on mud tracks. the natural feel of the earth combined with those shoes is like you are flying. you dont need much cushion at all.

The rests were really short. Between the 400m between 10 and 15 seconds as planned. Between the 1000m efforts I think it was just over a minute. The coach mentioned they were resting for shorter than he would have liked

Yea seems like it. They compensate for it by wearing soft road racing shoes though! And it's probably still softer than pavement. Would wanna do intervals in spikes there :D

Take notes, no need to run fast on the warmup. These guys were jogging at at least 8:00 minute pace if not slower. Amazing video! Kenyan workouts are always a blessing.
