I was weak and had been really taking good care of myself. And I couldn’t understand it. All my blood tests were normal. But they didn’t look deep enough. And one day I was in the grocery aisle and a young boy who happened to be from Nepal was stocking the shelves. He handed me a large jar of pink Himalayan salt and said in a broken accent “this is what you need“. And I thought to myself “salt?” But I knew about minerals and I hadn’t used table salt in so many years. Just because. Only pepper. Anyway, I had my energy back within three days. It’s easy to forget that we need this. It’s so important. Thank you so much Dr. Berg for all you do.

I switched to Himalayan Pink Salt completely about 6 yrs ago. Had gestational diabetes and high blood pressure in my 1st pregnancy. I found out that this salt regulates the blood pressure. I gave it a go and I remember adding a pinch of it in my drinking water too. I stopped white table salt completely. It has been 6 years since. I have 2 more kids - no gestational diabetes and no high blood pressure since. I can never think of buying another salt now. In additional to these, I also switched to blended olive oil for cooking food, and relied on fresh local produce rather than buying cans of tomatoes, beans etc. Yes another thing is I replaced white sugar with the cane sugar. I never knew this salt originates from the mountain that is located in my country - Pakistan. Makes me feel proud of that! However unfortunately, you need to find a very reliable supplier for this when buying because it comes in different purity levels. Yes this is true but not all sellers would tell you this. We found out after visiting the mine itself. I am lucky to find a trustworthy seller. I live abroad and recommend this salt to all for its health benefits!

You also get micro plastics when you drink and eat out of plastic dishes and cups, nano plastics when you drink water from any vessel. In fact we all are breathing nano carcinogens on occasions. Doesn't make one bit of a difference unless you consume more than 10gm of salt per day which in itself is harmful. Too much Sodium!

Back in 2017 I started using Himalayan salt at the suggestion of my naturopath. I had previously had high levels of heavy metals, including aluminum, lead and mercury, that had been reduced through chelation, and would still occasionally get tested for heavy metals. My test a year after starting the Himalayan salt showed that for the first time ever I had uranium, and my levels of aluminum and arsenic were increasing instead of decreasing. I was mystified as to where I would be getting uranium from and why my other previously low levels were increasing even though I was occasionally getting chelation treatments. I had more chelation treatments, and yet a year later the uranium and other heavy metals were still high. It made no sense! Then my wife asked what was in the Himalayan salt. I did some research, and was shocked to discover that in addition to small amounts of beneficial minerals, there were also small amounts of aluminum, arsenic, barium, cadmium, cesium, lead, nickel, plutonium and uranium. I immediately stopped using the Himalayan salt, and did a concentrated series of chelation treatments that finally succeeded in getting rid of the uranium and reducing the aluminum and arsenic back to a low level.

As, I too had a similar experience in using Himalayan for few Months in our food items. Research has not shown that Himalayan salt has any unique health benefits compared to other dietary salt. The mineral impurities that give it a pink color, often promoted as healthful, are far too low in concentration to help with your nutrition. You would have to eat a lethal amount of sodium to achieve helpful quantities of the other minerals.

What about Redmond Sea Salt? - In prehistoric times, there was an inland sea covering what is now Redmond, Utah, known as Sundance Sea. nice video i just have a question , jack kruse wrote : Pink Himalayan salt has no enzymes it is essentially a rock. What you are doing when applying pink salt is applying beach sand to your food. It's the same thing, no different. Salt should come present with Lithophilic organism to assist in its breakdown of inorganic minerals. The enzymes also assist this process, alongside natural acids. It is not amphoteric therefore it creates issues with the sodium-potassium process. An amphoteric substance is an oxide of an element that can act as both an acid or a base. Furthermore, it is not below it's 9 atomic clusters. This means it can not either pass through or enter the body without causing tissue damage on the atomic level. High in deuterium and does not fit as a sodium source since it has a drastic effect on ionized blood levels. Celtic Sea salt is great. A phenomenal wide variety of salts are in existence. I Like the exotic sea salts from Fiji I also love the Fleur De Sal from France. The way Himalayan salt is procured through its intensive mining process is atrocious and the salt usually contains heavy metals from the grinding process and trace amounts of Potassium Nitrate from gunpowder explosions. Rich in fluoride, this results in overall electron transport and mitochondria inefficiency. what is your opinion on that dr. berg ?

Australia has several deposits of ancient salt as remnants of inland seas which are selectively mined. We also have salt mines located where salt rises to the surface through the earth from deep down. None of these would have microplastics in them except if something occurred from the retail packaging process. Most salt produced in Africa is from where the seawater is pumped into large evaporative ponds. It is touted as very healthy, being organically, sustainably and ethically produced but that is a fallacy.
