For about 5 months I have been mixing 1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan salt with juice of 1/2 lime, about 6 ounces of water and a splash of Apple cider vinegar. The change in my body has been eye opening. Sharing Dr Berg notes: It’s important to get sea salt that has been extracted from parts of the world with very low, or zero, microplastics. The best types of sea salt are: • Himalayan sea salt • Celtic Sea Salt • Redmond Real Salt sea salt • Baja Gold sea salt All of these types of sea salt contain sodium chloride and trace minerals. If you want a sea salt that’s higher in trace minerals, you might want to go with Baja Gold. But, if you need more sodium chloride, the other types of sea salt I’ve mentioned are all great choices. Table salt, or sodium chloride, only has two minerals. Sea salt has between 60 and 94 minerals. Regular salt can also come from very polluted areas and can contain microplastics. Microplastics can affect the body’s endocrine system. People who are salt-sensitive may really just need to go on a low-carb diet and consume more potassium. You need sea salt to support a healthy body. A deficiency in sodium or chloride can lead to all kinds of issues. If you’re deficient in sodium, you may feel more anxiety and have trouble sleeping. Sodium deficiency can impact your immune system and lead to high blood pressure. Sea salt also helps hydrate you, and without enough sodium, your risk for insulin resistance goes up. If you’re on keto and are doing intermittent fasting, it’s essential to consume enough sea salt. If you don’t, you could experience symptoms like low blood pressure, dehydration, and overall weakness. If you exercise, your need for sea salt goes up even more. Thank you Dr Berg! 🐱👍

@mikerevendale48104 ай бұрын
@@Maruman_man The research I'm referring consisted of around 600,000 individual cases and concluded that low Sodium levels increased risks for cardiovascular events as much as having extremely high levels. And I'd speculate that it's impossible to reach dangerous levels by exclusively using natural sea salts at home and limiting fast food consumption. I've witnessed the campaign to unjustly vilify salt from its inception; and it's still a widely held misconception that "salt is bad". But what should be vilified is commercial table salt, not the element which is vital for a myriad of bodily functions. If it wasn't for Dr. Berg, and a precious few like him, I'd say we're still living in the Dark Ages of Medicine.

There is one problem with buying himalayan sea salt is the Grinders you often see them sold in are a tube with a set of plastic grinding cogs, . If you use himalayan sea salt use it loose, empty it out off any plastic grinder and use a mortar and pestle or make sure its a grinder with metal grinding teeth, If you use the sold in grinder , the salt is powerful enough to grind the plastic grinding teeth and leave micro plastic in the salt. I noticed this early when the Himalayan fad first hit , i was seasoning a steak one day when seasoning was laying on the bottom of the pan went black molten and smoked nasty , i then worked out the grinders were disintegrating and the particles contaminating the salt. But altogether natural salts are just the same the minor trace mineral difference are negligible , I like french salt pan evaporation salt that's what i use only now. There are scientific videos on YT comparing the actual trace minerals in Him Salt to others Himalayan salt isn't any more special

I was told a few years back I have high blood pressure and then strongly told I need to watch my intake of salt. I then went and saw a different doctor and he too told me the same thing, but he did some basic blood work too. So when I got my results back and I myself noticed my sodium was under normal range a little bit I asked the doctor, how can I have high blood pressure and you told me to watch my salt intake and don't use much and there's Mrs. Dash yet, my sodium shows it's below where I'm suppose to be. He look like a deer in headlights. Stuck! Then he said, it could be from other things too. I said yeah not enough potassium and electrolytes. Didn't say much after that.
@Sara-gl8ue Жыл бұрын
By the way, my low sodium levels were a result of drinking too much water and not replenishing my electrolytes while I was sick. I was allowing my fever to run its course and was also fasting, and all of that combined caused my sodium levels to drop. Don't make the same mistake as me, lol. I am now drinking a liter of electrolyte water every day and have reduced my water intake because I was drinking way too much water in general. I always thought my pee should be clear but apparently that means you are overhydrated.

this makes a lot of sense. if I drink 2-3 cups of coffee I crave slaty chips / crisps like crazy. and I feel no shame in eating a full bag in one go. turns out it's a good thing.... ever since I started eating more salty chips I noticed a lack of interest in chocolate and sweets. even my favourite drink sprite and fanta lemon. I have more cravings for actual food now.

Half teaspoon of pink salt in liter of spring water , thats my sole water. Plus magnesium glycinate and a quick spray of potassium under my tounge keeps me cramps free. I live in harsh tropical area and i work to get hot motors and generators going. I need salt. Himalayan, i prefer.😊

I've been using pink Himalayan salt in my food over any other type of salt for years. A little goes a long way. I'm not sure if it has benefitted me, but I also sprinkled some in the water while bathing. Gotta be careful where you buy it though. Some companies add dye or food colouring to other types of salt and label it as pink Himalayan.

Thank you for the video, it is very informational, just like all your videos. Especially on how much to use, which i was not aware of before. Also, didn`t know if you drink coffee, how much fluid u lose. I used Himalayan salt for years and never had any problems until recently. I started keto diet after watching one of your Keto diet videos, and i started having dry mouth, couldn`t figure it out why. I watched somebody else was talking about Celtic salt and how/when to use it so i tried. I got rid of the problems with my dry mouth problem and also have no muscle cramps. Used Himalayan same way and same amount before so for me Celtic is better choice. My conclusion is that we are all different and everyone react differently to each salt. You have to try and see which is better for you. I share all the videos with my friends and all the people i know so everyone can learn importance of salt and all other healthy choices. Thank you.

(From NZ) Thank you, Sir! My late father liked a little bit of food with his salt! He was a dentist, stood during working hours, took no medications and died at 84. I have always sweated like a Clydesdale and use quite a lot of the pink salt despite the derision of some who claim that salt is salt is salt. Pink salt is relatively cheap but French sea salt is very expensive. "See How It Runs" was once the ad jingle for Cerebos salt, using, I think, an aluminium ant- caking agent. NZ has an oceanic solar evaporative industry at Grassmere, north east of the South Island which is clearly visible on Google Earth maps and the Street View as it is right at the roadside.

I've mentioned about Celtic Salt a long time ago and Dr. Berg response was..."there are many types of salts". Already knowing this, I'll stand by my initial comment about Celtic Salt in that it contains the highest amount of trace minerals than any other salts.
@truthbeliever24 Жыл бұрын
Well, in the video he doesn't down play any salt buttable salt. He basically said watch for the plastics in the salt, know where it's coming from and YOU YOU YOU decide what salt you'd like based on the amount of minerals you want. So, it sounds like Celtic Sea salt was your choice. Great! Dr. Berg saying there's many different salts still stands with Absalute Truth. Happy salt eating!

Awesome video as always. I know that if people don’t have enough salt and trace minerals, the cells in the body start exploding. I have gotten to the point where I can if my body needs more salt and I definitely get enough and I’m not worried about taking too much because my kidney will get rid of any excess that is not needed as long as the kidney is functioning properly. I am into cleansing the kidney and liver regularly as these are basic points of maintenance for a healthy body. People should watch what they eat and regularly do maintenance on the systems that get rid of toxins, which are your liver and kidneys.

Eric, you're onto something that can have a HUGE and immediate impact on human health across the board. Our immune systems are deficient due to diminishing levels of hydrochloric acid which is used to make various types of salts to cancel out pathogens. Many people are using Sodium Chlorite (a chlorite salt) plus any strong acid such as citric acid or hydrochloric acid to create chlorine dioxide which our immune systems make naturally but, today, in insufficient quantities due to many factors. When Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) comes into contact with a pathogen they cancel each other out due to opposite polarities. ClO2 is positive and pathogens are negative. ClO2 travels directly to the pathogens because opposite charges attract each other. If I feel an illness coming on I simply take one to 3 drops of ClO2 and it knocks it out in one to two hours. There's a ton of testimony on line about knocking out just about everything there is that attacks the human body. It's all about electrical charges and polarity. All pathogens seem to be the same, negatively charged intruders that are easily canceled out.
