Hinduism: Where is the evidence?

Inspired by core ideas from Rajiv Malhotra, Dr David Frawley and other spiritual masters, this video discusses how Abrahamic religions which make exclusive truth claims, draw their authority from dubious historical records. Hinduism however, does not draw its legitimacy from history. Instead it bases all its Truth claims from direct first hand experience.
The Masters have attained a realisation and then have delivered the method of how others can reach such a state. The various paths are representative of the different ways teachers have traveled along the spiritual path to experience their true relationship with God.
Rather than trying to piece together manuscript fragments or analyse historical date to prove their Truth, Hinduism invites the ardent spiritual seeker to discover for themselves the possibility of knowing God.

My father is a christian and my mother is a muslim. both religions are not tolerant to any other religion even though they are the youngest. i hate that they condem every other religion. the hate and intolerance drove my brother sister and I to join a Hindu satsang. I have read the qu ran and have come to the conclusion that the qu ran is a book made by a crazy psychopath who has made allah to make the psychopath a ruler and makes everyone agree with him and him only. You will see stupid things in the qu ran like how you should not come into the prophets house at certain times and after a lot of research you find out that its not that allah wrote that but the prophet added it instead. The quran says that those who do not follow islam will go to eternal damnation. This means allah does not mind putting around 4 billion people in hell. This is the problem with the abrahamic religions. Eternal damnation is the worst possible way for a devine creator to punish souls for their misdeeds. This means that christianity, judaism, and islam are horrible religions made up so that people around the creators of the religions follow every single word of the teaching presented and made the people slaves to the leaders who forced the religions onto people. Now these abrahamic religions all say that their religion is true, do you really think that god would put a truth onto earth knowing fully well that it will be spread through war and bloodshead. There is a reason that christianity and islam are so widespread and thats because of the rutheless killing of millions just to force them to worship a "loving devine being". Its bull shit.

I've born non- Hindu. I've experienced God first hand by practicing the Hindu rituals. I found your video the most accurate and closest to my feelings and thoughts! Archit Goel 99.9% won't understand because there is nothing to explain as human can understand. When you go further inside the ideology of Hinduism you will realize it cannot stand itself and it will teach you to find God by loosing all the benefits God has given to you (sanyasa). Then there is another myth "Aham Brahma". Hope you know it's in adept meaning, You are becoming your own God, creator, you don't have to listen to anyone. There is not father for you, no mother, no society and you make your own law. If everybody does that how mankind will go further? Answer is not everyone cannot practice that, then simple question "why God has created such a religion which his fellow creations cannot adapt in life?" So in simple words, if not everyone can't practice that, then that's not for us.

I think they're not meant to. For that, we have something called Culture, Traditions. It's a culture in a common Hindu family to respect parents elders, do good Karma etc. These actions will alone keep them free of anything wrong which the intellectuals understand after a lot of contemplation. So, I shall celebrate being born in a land of spirituality and care less about understanding it ALL. Plus no one, however great a master he/she may be, can achieve perfection in their knowledge of sanantan dharma. As our elders say, one lifetime is nothing compared to what's required to understand out scriptures and philosophies completely. :)

I've been thinking hard about becoming a Hindu. This video helped me understand a lot. I am just about to do it. I was thinking about becoming a Buddhist monk after already having been in a Catholic religious order. Now Budhism seems a bit too limiting where Hinduism seems to offer much more unlimited free spiritual transformation. I will visit the Hindu temple here in Indianapolis soon. Thanks for this video.

The fun thing about being Hindu is that you are already one if you are a good person, if you care about others, you take care of your parents, you want to connect with all at one level, spiritually enlightened..... But even if we call Hinduism as a religion, the best thing is you can still enjoy Christmas, Eid, Diwali and so on.... there are so many gods, that one can just choose what he wants to connect with and off you leave your body and get this 360 bird view of world sitting right in your backyard..or you can be an atheist, or you can believe in one god the cosmos...it really amazes me how deeply this is constructed and we are getting to know real meanings now...Hare Ram Hare Krishna!

Really loved your video and learnt much from it. Im a Christian myself from the Latter Day Saint movement or Mormonism as its commonly know. We are different from many Christians where we believe that all individuals can receive revelation for themselves and that all individuals are not to just believe what is written in book but to ask God themselves and recieve answers from God in everything they do in life by pondering (meditating) and praying. I feel the hinduism is much better and silencing their minds and understanding meditation and revelation and i learn much from this and will incorporate it into my spiritual worship. Christian women wore headbands in fear of angry mobs with swords, but prayed fervently to Jesus to save them. Heard of riots in Delhi post elections recently? Muslim houses were robbed and damaged and they were asked to say out loud, "Jai Shree Ram". If they didn't do, they were killed or beaten recklessly. Do you think those people would ever even consider Hinduism in their hearts now? Nobody minds a discussion on Hinduism with the freedom to choose or reject. But one would mind being killed for not converting. Either you don't read news or you missed on the above. I'm not saying all that, witness accounts are all over the net. Those are just 2 of the thousands of cases. Some scholar said Hinduism isn't a religion but a way of life. There's no concept of Heaven and hell but becoming one with God after a number of rebirths. Nobody says what's the limit of the rebirths. But everything seems hunky dory there. Even if you sin, you can be redeemed by doing an act (regardless of whether you repent or not). There's no eternal judgement. There's no justice after death because ofcourse you are reborn. There's no concept of Grace of God. There's no concept of God's love and God proving that love by being hurt himself. Correct me if I'm wrong. I understand there's no being saved. Nobody feels the love for sinners that if they don't repent, they would face eternal he'll, so there's no need to tell others about God so they can be saved. There's nothing like that. Obviously then there's no concept of caring enough for others to tell others about Hinduism despite being killed for it. It's okay.

great video, growing up in a hindu family, i always felt ashamed of my religion because i was ridiculed growing up about elephants and 6 arms and a whole bunch of things i just could not explain.. as i got older, i realized how much depth and liberation hinduism provided in comparison to the big 3 religions. the problem is, i just dont have adaquate knowledge of hinduism despite doing some searching. i want to be able to describe my belief to someone but i just dont have the words. i want to start by saying something like im not a religious person but i have much interest in hinduism and all the wisdom it offers. i find organizated religions are filled with alot of hate and control which just doesnt resonate with me. i honestly dont know what else i could say ;p im trying to do more research. i also dont understand why some dieties are portrayed the way they are. if someone asks me if i worship an elephant, i dont really know an appropriate response. can anyone help me in guiding me to some clarity
