You're going to love this band, and here's the journey I would recommend - I would listen to a few more of Disturbed's early fan favorites before getting to Sound of Silence. All bangers, you'll be good. Check out Stupify, Stricken, and Inside the Fire. Then I would do Another Way to Die, Vengeful One, and Indestructible. Then Sound of Silence, A Reason to Fight (Official Live), Hold Onto Memories. That would cover early, middle, and recent. That's not all of their best, but probably the best sampling of their career (although it leaves off their most recent album which is pretty damn good)

I like what you said about those who don't like your piercings but don't have a problem with the lead singer of Disturbed...you do you 😁 I say if someone or something doesn't improve the quality of your life, then let it roll off your back. 2) You mentioned Godsmack. They are crazy badass. Shannon Larkin of Godsmack is my second favorite drummer of all time behind Dave Grohl (Nirvana drummer and now lead singer of Foo Fighters). One song to listen to by Godsmack is "Straight Out of Line." Crazy good song. Keep going down this road of Medal, Nu Metal, and Grunge! I've been following grunge since 1991 (I was 8 years old haha).
