This is possibly my ALL TIME favorite Avenged Sevenfold song. The long, uncut, unedited version is absolutely fantastic. If you pay attention to the lyrical content, it speaks about events straight out of the book of Revelations. This song is essentially a Sunday school lesson in a killer heavy metal song. A LOT of Avenged Sevenfold's songs have a very subtle (or not that subtle) religious or Christian meaning to them.

You're right part of the reason A7X is hated on is because they are a mainstream metal band. They've been described as a metal boy band. But their true push on to the mainstream came on one of the old PS2 versions of Madden football when they started adding music to their game. Great song choice :) This really is one of The Revs best songs. Its also really hard to play. I only got to hear it with him behind the drums once and it was incredible. Lyrically it's amazing.
