Okay Massage Therapist of 6 years and I have to comment about 14:55 . I don’t see a problem with what Tabatha suggested. In fact when a client of mine asks for hot stones that aren’t ready, but I happen to have some extra time, I will absolutely offer to warm them up and use them when it’s ready. Obviously it’s a different story when I’m booked solid but it’s always about the client and this girl is complaining about Tabatha’s “negative energy”. Girl you created the negative energy by coming at her when all she did was give a suggestion on how to improve your customer service... 🤦🏻♀️
@Boertje2474 жыл бұрын
Victoria Simoes, I agree 100%! I recently went to a day spa, having booked a salt scrub/relaxation massage. I saw a sign at the reception desk for a hot stone massage, and asked my masseuse if I could get one. She said "Absolutely!" She also said it would take about 20 minutes to heat, but that she would start the scrub, and finish with the hot stones. It was pretty amazing, seamless, and professional. I didn't even need the heat-time explanation, and she was so positive. I thought Jaklin threw negatives immediately to her client, then copped an attitude when Tabitha pointed out how to be a better salesperson and technician.

The only way to receive true happiness is to be born again. Jesus loves you and is coming back to earth soon. This year is giving signs of end times. You need to repent. Please believe and spread the word to your friends, family etc so they can be saved. I'm doing this because I care about where you're gonna end up on judgement day Jesus loves you.....

Being positive and supportive of your staff will rarely backfire. One of my first bosses told me that the most economical way to retain a great staff was to encourage and praise and support them. He said that if the boss or managerial staff is mean, petty, plays favorites, the staff will demand more and more money, and quit at the first opportunity. Having a manager like Brian just demoralizes everyone. You gotta know your manager has your back, and the manager needs to know the staff has their back as well.

"Sweet" yes, but sweet is a double edged sword. Sweet people let themselves be taken advantage of, and watch others treated like crap (Jaklin) and do nothing about it. I've grown tired of "sweet" people over the years, especially in the workplace. I hope he is doing well, but I have no patience for not having a backbone.

Brian is so arrogant and rude. If he tried to be empathetic and kind when Jacqueline said she was quitting then maybe she would've decided to stay. They should've said "what can we do to change your mind?" instead of "ok then just quit" 🙄
@mouse589c54 жыл бұрын
Even if it had been 'ok then just quit' would have been better than screaming at her the way he did. I was horrified that they did nothing to protect her.

Brian felt so secure and was using his ''powers' of authority against the staff members until Tabitha announced that Tim was the only person who could fire anyone......then to top it off with him going on probation - omg the look on his face...lol hahaha

Wow... Brian is such a horrible negative person! Bad energy from him, don’t see how Tim hired and kept him when he isn’t helping bring the hippie vision to the spa.

You're very sweet to put it so kindly lol...I'd have used words with much sharper edges to describe someone so vile. As he says to hard-working employees when they leave the salon because of him: Good Riddance!

Wow, a business owner who actually listened to Tabatha and implemented all of her suggestions??? 🤯 Brian was T O X I C af....he didn't belong anywhere near a "positive vibes" wellness center, I'm glad Tim was back in charge. And I'm also glad Tim didn't destroy the former front desk.. I realize it was "symbolic" of the past, but he still saw the value in it and it clearly had sentimental meaning to him. I'm sure he hoped it would end up in a new home who appreciated its uniqueness lol

Sooo you see Brian's attitude and immediately want to blame the girl quitting on him/the salon. But wait!! She was just a whole B word to Tabatha for giving advise on customer service. Sounded to me like she was part of the negative energy.
@garnet97884 жыл бұрын
I honestly felt like she was overall just done with the place. I still think that she needed to be professional but when you work in that environment for so long you start to have the same attitude of Brian. I think it was best for her to leave.

I enjoyed the episode! I love how she had them do a team building exercise from that point things just shifted gears and became more positive. It's amazing how little things can make a huge difference. I'm also glad that Tim finally took charge and Brian left. It seems Brian was just in the wrong place and didn't truly want to be there or just had his own unresolved issues that he kept bringing to work! Oh well, I hope they are doing well!

Brian, knew that it takes a very strong type of person to overpower him and his snarky gossiping, backstabbing, complaining and sabotaging ways and Tabitha, she is a strong-independent thinker to put Brian in his place and she would not be intimidated by him or his antics and see right through him. This is the actual reason for the nervousness when Tabitha arrived , he knew that his goose was cooked! It wasn't all editing or framing, he is or was that snarky and bad. I hope since these shows were made, years ago, Brian has changed for the better and likely, he has or he is a complete excusesnmakernif he hasn't after watching this.
