I agree. I once had a teacher who did that to me. He'd call me worthless, stupid, and just overall made me feel like hell. My mom and I went to the principal of that school and I remember the teacher being asked if this was correct. "Yeah," he said. "I say all those things. It's a teaching technique. If I don't push her, she won't learn." I totally felt for Nic in this episode and truly hope she found a better job and is happy.

Aquiarius Von Frankenstein I had a similar experience with my vice principal in elementary school, she also taught our class and she would single me out for punishments even though she knew I didn’t do anything. One time I was sledding with my friend at school (it had a bit of a hill so when it snowed we’d all bring sleds.) She tried to take my sled away from me because we weren’t supposed to have 2 people on 1 sled even though mine was a 2 person sled. I refused to give it to her, she grabbed my arm and tried to pry it out of my hands. After filing a formal complaint to the school board we learned she already had an open file with tons of complaints from other schools.

Tbh I feel so bad for Nik because she seems so held back with her personality, probably scared to just be herself because of Tania's backlash. You can tell in her.. calculated responses to questions and stuff. She was trying to be comfortable around Tabatha but she's withdrawn because of her unstable boss. :( It's sad. As a dog groomer of 8 years this episode brought back a few nam flash backs. The second I heard “I didn’t know anything about grooming before I opened this business” I thought RUN GROOMERS, RUUUUUUNNNNN. Worked for way too many horrible people that suck the life out you. I'm sorry but if I was dropping my dog off to the groomers I would want to take a look around first too, just like kids you don't dump them off to a strange school before checking it out first do you?
@kahlan65744 жыл бұрын
To be fair, I work at a doggie daycare, and we also don’t allow parents to receive a tour because it is disruptive to the other dogs and could cause issues, we have no idea how some dogs might react to strange humans, and even though there’s almost never a problem, it does set the dogs off and get them excited even when a staff member they’re used to come into the room. This can very easily escalate behavior and start a scuffle between two or more dogs. In addition, we have no idea how the parents would act towards the other dogs. We spend time with the dogs, and even new dogs are interviewed before they’re allowed to attend the daycare. We know which dogs shouldn’t be picked up, can’t be put on lead, are very shy or reactive, don’t like to be pet in certain areas. I understand from the parents point of view why they would want to check out the facility first, but from an employee’s point of view it could cause an issue and at the very least add one more interruption to the day. And from the business side, be a potential liability. We’re not just responsible for your dog, but anywhere from 20-40 other dogs.
@spookshow69994 жыл бұрын
I would never leave my dog at any groomer. I’ve seen horrible treatment, and even death of a dog recently. Too many evil nut jobs so called groomers. They are abusers.
@spookshow69994 жыл бұрын
Kahlan like I just said. I’d never walk off with my dog, or cat anywhere. Especially not at your place then. Nope. What do you have to hide, if people can’t even see where their dog is going to be kept, and or treated. No way in hell. It’s like you’re hiding something. NO WAY IN HELL. I’m especially not shelling out money where I can’t even see where my dogs going to be held in between grooming. It’s bullshit.
@Platinum4004 жыл бұрын
spook show I agree with you 100%. I wouldn’t leave my dog at any place for that long anyway but if a place won’t even let you look around that’s super shady and makes me think they might just be keeping the dogs locked up in cages all day long or worse. I don’t care if it’s a policy or not. I’d happily take my dog and my money elsewhere.
@tracyllewellyn59424 жыл бұрын
@@kahlan6574 sorry but that policy of yours needs to be changed, my friend took her dog to a new groomer and she wasn't allowed to look around either, and on the way out she witnessed a dog getting a tap off one of the groomers, my friend was disgusted and contacted the local council to complain as well as give the owner a mouthful. Turns out this 'dog groomers' although had a stunning parlour had a reputation for dogs being returned either drugged up (we know our animals) or nasty. It is still going but only barely cos more people are getting to know about the abuse and they will be closed down soon. I don't agree with not being able to see where my dog will be groomed. And as for an insurance liability that excuse is a copout because with insurance liability always comes with public liability as standard. And if I don't like the look of the groomer or feel uncomfortable I will simply walk away. You yourself might know you treat the dogs well but us customers need to know too with our own eyes.

@@bunnylacy2097 I know what you mean but in the spirit of it. The producers, whomever is in control of the budget could perhaps make allowances for extreme cases, I guess.
@bunnylacy20974 жыл бұрын
MK W Tabitha cares but personally as someone who works in this business, it’s rare for producers to care enough to do what you’re suggesting. It’s just the truth. I wish things works positively and that people cared but for producers, they’re making a show. A show that helps people, but also a show that makes them money. There’s also their higher ups at the network who if they don’t provide them with the content to create another episode of what they’ve said they wanted, then the producer, directors, etc. could lose their job. So let’s say the producers care and the director cares... what about the network executives who don’t even meet with the people filmed? Do they care? Probably not and they’ve got the most power.

Tbh even if the place had the best facilities I wouldn’t leave my dogs there if I met Tania just because of the energy she is putting out. I have a very sensitive, intelligent collie x pitbull who is literally the sweetest girl but she’s an emotional sponge and I can guarantee that Tania’s energy would result in negative behaviors in my dog. Now I feel that my dog would adore Nik because she is gentle and my dog would probably be quite protective of her. Edit: watch further I don’t know if Nik is depressed, has zero self confidence or is neuro divergent but Tania really needs to rethink the way she manages her as a boss and as a human… she seems like a sweet calm soul and she needs building up not tearing down.
