Oh my goodness - I actually stayed at this B&B a few years ago! It must have been after Tabatha's visit because Marguerite served a tremendous breakfast, but apart form the breakfast hours, the dining room table was covered with papers etc. My room was quaint and I slept well. Diane offered ideas of places to go etc. It was a lovely stay.

I read somewhere that she is not a daughter, but rather a granddaughter who showed up with a young baby and Diane felt obligated to help them. The BNB was opened in order for the granddaughter to make a living so she could raise her children without draining Diane's retirement account. Sadly, the BNB was never Diane's original intention. She worked her entire life in order to retire in peace and quiet. I think the majority of Tabitha's show is embellished and scripted.

I've always thought it's a bad idea to live where you work when you're running a b&b. You need thats separation to keep a professional attitude, otherwise there's just random strangers mooching through your house and it annoys you and ruins the experience for the guests

They could feel the machine was warm, but . . . not for them!!!! Not even a small coffee machine in their room! Not to mention, since she only has $20 in her wallet, she can't afford a maid/cook for herself! She hired a cleaner/cook for the BUSINESS!!!!! WHY then, are the customers NOT getting fed, NOT getting their rooms cleaned (unless they pay $10 more - CRAZY!), while this woman is catering to the employees & owner??????
