Baldur is really missed in the Ragnarok sequel, like I loved that he is gone as our final obstacle in the first game but I just didn't enjoy any of the fights of villains in Ragnarok as much as Baldur, he was so slimy but also tough as nails and felt like such a threat, anytime he was in a scene or battle you just got that do or die feeling. Great job to the devs with him, and again I just wish another character would have been able to give me something close to that in Ragnarok. I always had this idea in my mind that if Baldur is this crazy and over the top what will Thor and Odin be like...well that's all I'll say don't want to spoil the new game for anyone not caught up. I wish Baldur walked away once he was freed from his curse. I love Freya but it really is a curse. She did it out of love but it was such an overreach and created the monster he became. His likeness to his father Odin I dont think is what made him into the deranged lunatic he became, it was living for so long with no feeling in any aspect while never fearing death. He craved any sort of feeling even if it meant dying. He didnt have to make amends with his mother or even forgive her but just walk away and life the rest of his life being able to feel again. I knew he wasnt going to let it go though, I wish he did but he hated what his mother did to him. I didnt want her to die either though and I think Kratos made the right decision to kill Baldur in order to protect Freya. I never played the ones before this but watching a channel play it got me really into learning more. I found your video on Kratos and after watching that and playing the game its ashame that I hadnt gotten any of the previous games. The storytelling is amazing and the characters are so complex, the fighting in this game was also so fun and the world was beautiful! Seeing the absolute size of the world serpent amazed me and one of my favorite moments was when Atreus called to him for help. Also, in mythology Baldur's actual name is Balder, and is killed by a blind God. So in mythology, it is true that Baldur is unkillable and can't fell pain, and it's also true that the mistletoe breaks the spell. You might ask, "why mistletoe?". Well, in mythology, Gods learn that he will die soon. So, Freya tells every single animal, human and plant to not hurt Baldur. Except for mistletoe, she forgets to tell the mistletoe. One day, the Gods know Baldur is unkillable, so they use him for target practice. When Loki hears that Baldur is immortal, he tries to find his weakness because Loki is a bad God in mythology. Then, he hears from Freya that Baldur's weakness in mistletoe. So then, after Loki finds a mistletoe, he gives it to a blind God, then makes him shoot the arrow attached to mistletoe Baldur (the blind God doesn't know the mistletoe was attached to the arrow). Then, Baldur dies, then Loki is punished for eternity.

Frigg and Freya are probably just two names for the same god.

@@lordmuhehe4605 So there are beliefs that they are connected in some way, but in some instances in Old Norse poems they are mentioned separately. Such as this description of a verse. In the poem Lokasenna, where Loki accuses nearly every female in attendance of promiscuity or unfaithfulness, an aggressive exchange occurs between Loki and Freyja. The introduction to the poem notes that among other gods and goddesses, Freyja attends a celebration held by Ægir. In verse, after Loki has flyted with the goddess Frigg, Freyja interjects, telling Loki that he is insane for dredging up his terrible deeds, and that Frigg knows the fate of everyone, though she does not tell it. Loki tells her to be silent, and says that he knows all about her-that Freyja is not lacking in blame, for each of the gods and elves in the hall have been her lover. Freyja objects. She says that Loki is lying, that he is just looking to blather about misdeeds, and since the gods and goddesses are furious at him, he can expect to go home defeated. Loki tells Freyja to be silent, calls her a malicious witch, and conjures a scenario where Freyja was once astride her brother when all of the gods, laughing, surprised the two. Njörðr interjects-he says that a woman having a lover other than her husband is harmless, and he points out that Loki has borne children, and calls Loki a pervert. There exists information about both, Freyja has a brother named Freyr, Frigg doesn't. Frigg and Freyja's father have different names, and they both have different cities/realms they reside in. There have been scholars that believe they are the same person due to them having a lot in common, and in the Old Germanic myths they may have been the same person, but it seems in Norse myth they are separate Goddesses.

Hopefully Kratos can travel and battle Egyptian gods, and African gods. And then Asia, India and Central American pantheon. He could be kicking gods asses all over the globe
