In the Street Fighter: Assassins Fist movie, it happened the opposite. Gouki was kicked out of the dojo by Gotetsu and Gouken stayed to train. Either way, the story ended up being quite interesting in both the games and that movie

Even before Gouken was shown training Ryu in SFV, it could be assumed that Gouki won the battle in his SFIV ending as in SFIII, Ryu's 2nd and 3rd Super Arts were the Shin Shoryuken and the Denjin Hadouken instead of the Metsu Shoryuken and the Metsu Hadouken (Shin Shoryuken and Denjin Hadouken were Gouken's Ultras in SFIV). Additionally, Ryu gains a new move in SFIII (which was later patched into SFV) commonly referred to as the "Donkey Kick," which is supposedly the same move Gouken performs as his Focus Attack in SFIV.

Since him, Jinpachi and Akuma are also based on the Kongorikishi / Niou. Maybe Jinpachi and Gotetsu were ol' friends? Perhaps they were students of the same master. Who knows. (Since both of them seemingly shared Zen buddhist beliefs because of their oufits. Who knows).

Well made video and possibly hinting at the philosophy mentioned, with the new character bio. The gamplay at the end was good and video was was informative. On death battle they revealed that Dan used the Shun Goku Satsu [and failed horribly lol😄 and so Gouken was right to let him go😏].

"Ansatsuken" is not the name of their martial art. Officially, the martial art taught by Goutetsu had no give name; "ansatsuken" instead indicates the fighting style's purpose. Unlike other martial arts that are taught for self-defense, sport or physical/spiritual wellness, an "ansatsuken" is meant to kill. Gen's martial arts, based on different styles of kung-fu/wushu, are also referred to sometimes as "ansatsuken", which makes sense since he uses them in his trade as an assassin.
