The only problem with Trigon is he's so powerful most writers have no idea how to write him without reverting to Magical McGuffins (usually Raven) to stop him, and since it's Teen Titans, there's all sorts of plot armour to allow them to banish or otherwise defeat him. The live action show from a few years ago had a really great take on him (and the actor playing him was just perfection), simply arriving in our universe meant he WOULD conquer it, as he had done to an uncountable number of alternates already, End of Season 1 and start of Season 2 is the Trigon Arc if any want to check it out, no major spoilers included in case you do :)

The only explanation I can think of is that Superman has no extra protection against magic and because Bizzaro is sort of his opposite he has super anti-magic stuff I guess?
