What a wonderful message from Dr Godfrey, even though this message is 8 years old it really is timeless. I remember I wanted to go on this cruise but because of work I never could but I just retired...yay. Maybe I can go with such a wise and wonderful Christian group as Ligonier is someday soon. God bless us, every one:)

In a nutshell: If it's in the Bible, it's true and historical fact ... until science proves otherwise or until society evolves higher moral standards. Then it becomes a metaphor, and you pretend the old-timers were silly for not recognizing the metaphor.

Wisdom is having the ability to discern and judge what is true or right. Discernment and judgement (of correctness) is what this entire video is focused on so asking “where is the wisdom?” is evidence that you listened but did not hear. We all suffer from stopped up hearing to a degree so it is important that we ask God to help us hear His word more clearly every day. Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
