I liked Hitchcock, good solid keeper, must admit he doesn't spring to mind for me as I remember him playing quite a bit in the era when Dimi Kharine was number one. A good inclusion would have been Ryan Meara. Had 1 season as the first choice GK for the NY Redbulls in 2012. He got injured, and his “temporary” replacement went on to start nearly every league game for the next 6 seasons breaking the MLS record for consecutive league appearances with 183. Excluding appearances in the PDL (an amateur/ semi-professional league) early in his career, Meara has made 35 appearances for the Redbulls first team from that first season and the odd cup match over the years, 30 for the Redbulls reserve team in the USL championship (US second division) and 1 appearance on loan. 66 total appearances over 10 years. Still at the club today, hes a fan favorite despite his lack of games. A New York Native, he’s seen as a loyal, blue collar professional, more than capable of occupying the number 1 shirt, who has been unfortunate to have been at the club at the same time as one of the all time great MLS goalkeepers.

Isn't it kind of a cheat to have 3 goalkeepers in this list? They're the most likely to be logging extended time on the bench, since by definition only one goalkeeper can play in a side. The same cannot be said of outfield players, who usually could slot in to more than one place in a given squad, depending on the system.

This is why I always make sure when I play championship manager, I give my fringe players at least three appearances per season. (By fringe players, I mean the 22 non frontline players of my first team squad, I don't mean that I move in reserve players for games willy-nilly! And, yes, I try to have 33 players in the first team squad, three goalies, three right-backs, three left-backs, six centre-backs, three defensive midfielders, three attacking midfielders, three right wingers, three left wingers, and six strikers. That should be more than enough cover for every position!)

@@rgamingpolska il sign a 36 yr old Pogba on a 1 year deal for example. That's all he will agree to, so I sign him and then the game won't let me extend his contract, it tells me" you've already agreed a deal with this player". His one year deal expires and then he moves to another team on a free. Happens all the time on my game. I had all these problems appear rou d about the time EA removed the Russian teams. I think it must have screwed the coding up somehow. Iv uninstalled and reinstalled but it still keeps happening. As well as that random CL glitch I spoke of in my other comment.

It wouldn't make the list criteria but I remember a guy called Ali Dia who I'm sure long tenured Saints fans will remember he was the guy who conned Graeme Souness into giving him a one month contract claiming to be George Weah's cousin. Might come in handy if you do a list of greatest football player hoaxes

If Alfie ever built a prison it would contain only two rooms with any function, a guillotine and an electric chair because Alfie is killing it and taking no prisoners.

Speak for yourself about nobody having any recollection of Quintin Fortune having played football at all... People of my age (mid-late 30s) will remember him in quite a few games, I certainly do

Surprised that Alfie didn't use images of Cara Delevingne for the Delevinas segment

@Snodgrass_112 жыл бұрын
@@Mr1234tan1234 you know an utterly average player could get up to 200,000 USD for sign-on bonus. our league is the third highest paying league in Africa but we are ranked 42 or something out of 54 countries in FIIFA rankings. most of our clubs are governmental clubs so the officials does not care about the government money they waste in a country whose people's average income is less than a dollar daily. Managers and players jump from club to club every year to secure that sign-on fee .Generally, it is sickening.
