Second, even if Hitler did have a TV set, he couldn't have watched "Adventure Time" (an animated series on the Cartoon Network) because it didn't exist in his day, and neither did the Cartoon Network, or even cable TV.

I have read that the original plan in that film was to have the prisoners defiantly singing the song, knowing their Japanese captors would not understand it. But it was considered a bit much for a movie at that time to refer to “balls,” so it was decided to have them whistle the tune, knowing that the audience would be singing along in their minds. When I first saw the film as a teenager, I did not know the lyrics. I just thought it was a jaunty tune. The only lyric I knew at that time was “Winners warm up with Malt-o-Meal.”
