8:28 this is actually the best thing I've learned in recent years. Thank you Will for showcasing this. The Decapitator on drums is something I knew about but it works FANTASTIC on guitars. Never would've guessed.

Squinting pretty hard at 7:35 where he's talking about a harsh frequency "moving" - if it "moves" it's not the same frequency, it's other different harsh frequencies that you could absolutely use additional bands in pro-q to momentarily duck. I get that it's convenient if soothe does it for him, but he says he couldn't do it with other plugins, and that isn't true.
