Deathstroke is originally actually Batman Villain but Batman refuses to fight him with all he's got and still manages to defeat him everytime so Death stroke goes after his allies and Robins in hope Batman would go all out against him in a fight, but he still never does as there's a storyline in which Bruce Wayne has said not to go all out against him and let him live in shame instead by getting defeated by someone who didn't even use quarter of his strength, it was when for betraying league of shadows or league of Assassins when Bruce Wayne was training and defended Ra's Al Ghul and yes in some of the Stories he already knows Bruce Wayne is Batman or else he could have gone after Bruce Wayne directly. But he respects how despite knowing these two are one he still get outsmarted and confused that these two are different people deep down he still he beloved these two are different people despite knowing it all and because of thier personas.

You missed the part during the credits/post-credits scene where they show Nightwing getting his ass kicked by Damian. That pretty much tells you how Nightwing captured Damian. Also, make sure there are no post-credits scenes or anything happening during the credits because, in the DC animated movies, there is always something at the end.

Just so you guys know, there are 5 Robins, the first is Dick Grayson who became Nightwing, Jason Todd who became Red Hood, Tim Drake who still is a Robin, Stephanie Brown also known as Spoiler, then became Robin for a bit, and now is one of the Batgirls, and the last one, Damian Wayne the only biological son of Batman. Fun thing I didn't realize about the Lazarus Pit is that it was in the third Nolan film. In traditional Nolan fashion though, he disguised it as a real world thing. The pit that Bruce has to climb out of after having his back broken is a little nod to this concept. He comes out of the pit healed of his former injuries and whatnot for when he goes back to Gotham.

The reason Kevin Conroy doesn't voice Batman in these after Flashpoint Paradox, is because the events of that film actually created an entirely new timeline (Justice League War and onwards). This is also why Flash and Green Lantern didn't know Batman in JL War. In other words, this is an entirely different Batman from the one in Flashpoint P.S. Some of these films also have after-credits

I get why, but it's such a shame that the Batfamily hasn't seen any proper adaptations outside of the comics. Batman developing his own family is so integral to the character and his growth. Batman should never stay alone because you remove such core aspects of his character like Robin, who's so important that he was created a year after Batman was. And that's not to speak of absolutely phenomenal characters like Jason Todd and Cassandra Cain, who are genuinely some of the best things to come out of Batman comics.

The lazarus Pits are located all over the planet but they are hidden and guarded always by the league. They're shown several times in ARROW as well from multiple people using them. They show the whole Legue extensively over the course of a few seasons pretty well for live action

Glad to see you guys enjoyed this one. As far as I know, this was the first time the character of Damian Wayne was used in a medium other than the comics. It was also my first time seeing, or rather hearing, Jason O’Mara as Batman/ Bruce Wayne. Not sure how long he would go on to play the character, but he did it very well. In my opinion, the second best voice actor of Batman behind Kevin Conroy. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to the next few Batman animated movies in this universe. Which, minor spoilers, is called “Batman vs Robin”. That one will lead to the next one, which I believe is called “Batman: Bad Blood.” Again looking forward to seeing your reactions to them as well. Also, totally forgot about the whole Talia date r*ping of Batman thing. I agree that it was kinda weird that Bruce was kinda into it. Either way, it was a pretty good film.

Very underrated movie. I know in the comics Damian has certain readers divided when it comes to him, many people thought the same for Jason. But I really liked how it shows the dynamics of the Batfamily with him Alfred and Nightwing especially how they know he’s a deadly assassin and only see him as a rude little boy.

Whilst many will argue that Batman has had plenty of sons, technically, Tim Drake still had his family (not counting the Jason-esque Tim from Batman TAS and the DCAU), and his relationship with Batman was more of an apprentice and mentor. Bruce did, however, practically raise Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. They may not be his blood, but everyone knows that Dick is essentially Bruce's first born and his greatest source of pride, Jason is the troubled child that Bruce did his best to raise right and loved dearly, despite everything that has happened between them. That said, it was clear that Damian had a special place in the hearts of Alfred and Bruce, as Alfred said very clearly that he was the spitting image of Bruce at that age. He is essentially a mirror of what Bruce could have become if he embraced lethal violence as a means to an end. He might have come late to the family and many fans may not like him all that much, but his impact on Batman and the others was profound enough to shape them all into a tighter family.

Dick being Bruce's greatest achievement, pride and joy thus giving him the hubris to take on another Robin. Definitely agree with you guys on the movie being better than you expected. JL War was a rough start to the DCAMU for me and I remember being pleasantly surprised by the quality of this one. It made me want to continue watching the DCAMU. The DCAMU had its ups and downs but the Batman trilogy is one of the better stories it offered. You'll probably be watching the cinematic universe in release order so you'll get to those eventually. Apart from the Batman centric movies, JL Dark, Suicide Squad Hell to Pay, Death of Superman are pretty good too. If youre ever itching for an older style of animation and storytelling, you can try Wonder Woman (2009) or Justice League Crisis on Two Earths (2010). If you go even further back there is the much acclaimed Batman Mask of the Phantasm (1993). Now this is tied to Batman the Animated Series but it is worth watching as a standalone experience. Just dont expect modern choreography and witty one liners from the characters. It has that classic Bruce Timm film noir aesthetic and the story is powerful.

So the reason that the voice cast changed feom Flashpoint to Justice League War. Flashpoint was technically the last film in a previous series of animated films that rebooted the DCAMU, which started with War. Flashpoint does become relevant again in a later film.

Being a Prime 80's kid , growing up with g.i.joe, transformers and He-man Hearing early about a prime time Batman Animated series (90's) got me excited that the material was going to taken seriously was an Awesome thought! The Animated series and movies have turned out Beautifully!

Jason O Mara is a great Batman. Morena Baccarin killed it as Talia. And Sean Maher was brilliant as Nightwing. That's two Firefly alumni! Most of the Firefly cast have been in multiple DC projects, actually.

They did show the Lazarus pit on the live action tv show Titans, the 4th season I believe. I think you guys should definitely watch that while you're on your "DC" phase.

James Gunns DCU Batman Movie will have Damien Wayne as robin, based on Brave and Bold comic storyline loosely.. I hope to finally witness something like this but different enough in live action..

As far as I know, they’re using the title of Brave and Bold, which has always been associated with Batman, but is not based on any storyline from a Brave and the Bold comic.

Damian is the 4th male Robin typically. The first is Dick who created the mantle and moved on to Nightwing. The second is Jason Todd and the 3rd is Tim Drake. In this continuity, however, they skipped over the 2nd and third robins. Before you ask there are female robins with different levels of continuity. Stephanie Brown typically goes by the name "spoiler" and Kerri Kelly tends to stay inside of the Dark Knight Returns continuity, a darker take on the Batman story. Damian according to James Gunn will be the next Robin in the Live action DCU.

If you’re watching animated Batman movies, you might want to watch “Batman vs Two-Face” and “Batman the Return of the Cape Crusaders”. It has Burt Ward and Adam West reprising their roles. Since I grew up watching the tv series, I really enjoyed them. They have the same tone as the tv series.

on batman heirs in the comics he only got 2 blood related children which varies since 1 is in main continuity the other is mostly in alternate universes. main continuity is damian wayne as you see here, the other is helena wayne which her mother is selena kyle/catwoman. in those other earths if say focus on new 52 earth-2 story she starts off as robin, got warped to main earth and went under guise of huntress. wehen she went back to her earth and time went on she took on the title of batman. note i said batman, not batwoman. she maintain that name so ppl think its the original and she have a voice modulator. in that earth later her robin is dick grayson (aka first robin then nightwin) son.

Damien would be the 4th(canon) Robin. Before him would be Tim Drake, who became Red Robin, and before him would be Jason Todd, who took up the Red Hood name.

Hot take: This was one of the movies that made me go "Oh no" for this universe of movies. Court of Owls is such a good story, and I am surprised they would Frankenstein it into what this movie became.
