Great video! Man I need to catch up on your videos I've missed some good stuff it seems. I loved the Rucking gear segment. I ruck from time to time ( working to get more consistent), and I love seeing what people use on their rucks.

Thanks! Love to ruck. Great way to get exercise, especially since I'm not a big fan of running 😂 Hardest part for consistency for me now is all the travel I do for work, but I've been working on that.

Another great video! I think the Evergoods CAP 1 and 2 are legendary. I also have the Berzerker boots and find them incredibly comfortable. They have me curious about other GR footwear now!

Thanks! I do like GR footwear. I wear the ballistic trainers daily. Just got the rough runners which, I have to say, have been great so far.

Yeah, the 18l DC Bullet is fantastic. Easier to organize and great layout.

Great video, dude. First off, just want to thank you for pointing out that you were going to only highlight cool gear you can actually buy - especially since it's a holiday gear guide. Can't tell you how many videos I've seen where I like the item that's being showcased only to find out it's unavailable. Secondly, that GORUCK 18L dual compartment bullet is one of the sweetest bags they've made. Took all the best parts of a bullet and GR2 and our them together. My ONLY gripe is that the shoulder straps are wayyyy too skinny and they lost the beefiness that the original bullet straps had. It's more comfortable for me as a woman too if that makes sense. I have an OG two compartment bullet that I've been rocking for years. The thick padded straps are one of the best parts of their bags. Regardless, it's a badass bag that punches well above. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated. Are the OG two compartment bullet straps the same width as the GR1 straps? I’d love to have those on the current iteration of the 18L DCBR! That’s a huge part of why I like the GR1 and GR2 so much, and the GR3 straps are next level. They carry so well because of those straps. Happy Thanksgiving!

@ You're welcome! Big fan of the channel. FYI, my wife really enjoyed watching your GR3 loadout video with me. We both appreciated how thorough you were with your explanation and packing. I'd have to measure them and compare it to my GR1 BUT they are much thicker than the current iteration of the 18L. Like you said, it's one of the best aspects of the GR1 for sure. I've never seen a GR3 in person but I imagine the straps are awesome. Cheers!

It is sooo weird - I have the same CAP1 in burnt orange, CAP2 in blue ecopak and CAP0.5 in black/coyote xpac (alongside burnt orange and OD green). I also love the CTB26 for travel, but it's a toss-up with the Dragonfly 36L for me (that's actually 26L too, 10L are split between the external mesh pockets). I also dig my DC 18L Bullet for EDC. But why does your Robic have aqua-guard zippers? Mine is the black Robic too, but has (sadly) regular zippers...

Lol… we have good taste. I’ve been testing the 30L Ultra Dragonfly for about 3 weeks now, going to review it soon. What do you like about your 36L that makes it a toss-up vs the CTB26? The original ROBIC DCBR’s didn’t have the Aquaguard zippers, I got the updated version. Second version/release of that bag I guess.

@@Pack_roam I like that the Dragonfly is so light, no matter the material you get it in. I went for EPX600, cause it's less crinkly than ultra (have the 30L in ultra though). And I like that you get all the volume in the main compartment, with minimal (but just enough for me) organisation; sometimes I want to pack more clothes and/or camera gear - more often than not I travel with a 600mm lens, but then maybe I also wanna do some astro, or macro, take a tripod etc. Didn't know they updated the Bullet. And I'm surprised that Goruck would put aqua-guard zippers on regular lineup bag.

Awesome choices to look into. It's great that it's based on what you personally use. I love my Western Rise Evolution pants.

@@houserhythm I have been enjoying the 30L Dragonfly. Was thinking I may need to order the 36L too. The fact that it’s so light is what really stands out to me, significantly lighter than the CTB26,, and I do like the ultrastretch pockets for front and sides.

I thought it was still available, but I see the dyneema version is the only one left. Kind of pricey that one.
