Making lots of Jill's other dishes and desserts this holiday season!!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All! Thank you, Jill! We LOVE you!!!!😍🤩❤

I've yet to "build" any food using her recipes (but, o' the big plans I've got). I mostly watch her videos because she is so sweet...and I'm not talkin' "Hey Baby", rather simply her sweet spirit.

Thanks for the Plant-Based Eggnog. My request is granted. I'll make the Plant-Based Eggnog and the ingredients are easy to find at grocery stores.I prefer to use cashew and cashew milk so that the mixture will be thicker in texture. It's nice to add brandy to the mixture as well.

If you added a tiny bit of turmeric, it would make it golden.

Jill....what a great recipe for the Holidays!!! Along with eggnog, our Italian family would devour torcetti.... sugary, twisted Italian cookies. If possible, will you work your charm on a vegan version???

How long does the egg nog last refrigerated? Does it separate in the fridge? Thanks for the recipe! Happy holidays 😊
@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow8 күн бұрын
It will last almost a week. Mine didn’t separate in the fridge but did get thicker so you might need to add a little water if it gets too thick.

So excited to make this! What is the purpose of the banana in the ice cream? Is there a substitute I can use to keep the ice cream from tasting like bananas? I make your chocolate version with the bananas and it is quite strong tasting, though still delicious. :) Thank you!
@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow9 күн бұрын
Hmmm, silk tofu or baked white sweet potato
@JB-pd6bn8 күн бұрын
I am using the raw cashew and 1/8 cup sprouted rolled oats. Creamy and rich with a nice mouth feel. The banana isn't needed unless u love them. ❤
@jessicalatorraca85078 күн бұрын
I wonder if a pinch of turmeric (just a hair!) might bring that familiar, creamy-yellow color we’re so used to in Eggnog. Also I had one at a health food store recently, where they used banana to thicken it. I made it at home w/ frozen banana - yum! In case you don’t have dates, it’s a great stand-in. 🍌 (Oh, hilarious - you just added banana 😂🤭)

Where is this recipe posted? Oh! Found it. 😂 I think I'd use medjool dates for this, since they're softer and easier to blend.

Link to free printable recipe is in the description 👍
I like your recipe, but will tweak it a bit. When eggnog first came on the market in cartons, there wasn't that many ingredients. There were no artificial ingredients, preservatives or stabilizers, and definitely no ultra-pasturization.
