​@@Astrojox_ it probably does. all vessels failed and thrown to the abyss because they all have emotions. the hollow knight is the only one to not get thrown out because it has the least emotion. but ofc since all vessels have emotion of some kind he also failed and caused hallownest to get infected and destroyed by radiance.

@@alduinfr No, the knight is a pure vessel. It was confirmed that it was pure by the White Lady. To be pure means you can’t possess thought, dreams, or anything else that could be warped by the infection. The Hollow Knight was impure because it became attached to the Pale King.
