"You see little sister don't miss when she aims her gun." Every red-blooded country boy who hears that lyric gets just a little chill running down his spine, because he knows a little sister like that. Pretty song, brutal lyrics, cool reactions.

My wife and her sister both had the CCL when I met them. Both from Texas and both are about 6' tall. When we all lived in Texas we would go hunting targets pretty regularly. I never got my CCL. I told them I would simply get as low to the ground as I could they could handle it. I would not want to be their target if they drew on you. Both are extremely good shots and won't miss.

YES! Do the original by Vicki Lawrence! Reba McEntire is amazing but the original by Vicki Lawrence was always so much more haunting to me. This song wouldn't even exist if Vicki hadn't been so obsessed with it. I believe her husband at the time was the one who actually wrote it but didn't think it would get any traction and so never intended to produce it. Vicki actually only sang the vocals because they couldn't find someone to sing it. I believe they thought it would offend people in the south but it actually became a HUGE hit! Reba's cover just doesn't pack the punch for me that Vicki's original does.
