When I started this month, I was embarrassed that downward dog felt difficult...I felt like I couldn't catch a full breath in and my shoulders were unhappy. In the last few days, I've found myself pushing up much more comfortably in downward dog, and holding myself there with less worry. It's the little things

I’ve been practicing Adriene’s Original 30 Days of Yoga series simultaneously with the current Home series. It’s been good for me!! For February, I’ll likely do the Yoga Camp series and also follow the curated February calendar.

I can't believe I'm about to complete my first live 30 day yoga journey with all of you. I love seeing how many other people have already watched the video once I'm done and the comments are all so funny, honest, and inspiring. Today I noticed I'm getting stronger, it is very subtle but my chaturanga is getting less challenging to do. I am carrying little things from other days into my practices (taking up space when I reach up, embracing the tremble and fall because that's what it feels like to be alive, and trying to keep returning to the breath even when my mind disagrees). Thank you Adriene, Benji, and everyone around the world for showing up. I am so excited!

Yoohoo!! Time to put my consistency to the test. Just three days left to get home everybody. I'm so happy that I made it this far. However, I didn't come this far to only come this far. Me! I finally figured out breathing from the core... The body moving in unison. I find myself examining how I feel throughout the day and adjust thru the breath. It was a kind of epiphany. Also, I appreciate your quick 321 count down right when I need it!

Really loved this one. You’re a wonderful teacher Adrienne. Have been doing your videos for 3 or 4 years now and each year yoga has clicked more with me. This year, for the first time since having children, I can really feel my core and am aware I have muscles in my lower belly. Thank you so much for sharing your time with us. Do you ever have one of those moments where you said something awkward, and then keep replaying that cringeworthy moment over and over in your head for hours or days? I've been experiencing that for the past 48 hours, and this practice finally let me unlock that blockage and release it. Ahhhhh.... Thank you Adriene and YWA friends

I tried my best to straighten my leg in that standing posture but this yogi had to do my very best👍 but I feel so invigorated. Still working on my balances and synchronized breathing (long way to that). But I am happy where I have come as of today. Vinyasa, plank to cobra feels much easier to me now. My coming to warrior positions have improved. My fingers can touch the floor without bending my knees. My mind is stable. Thank you for all this

Although I've been doing YWA for a while, I've never understood when people talk about instant transformations or achievements (although these are great of course!). But today, my heels touched the earth in downwards facing dog, and my low lunge was powerful af! I am getting stronger, even though I didn't think I would 💪 That's not to say that my triangle didn't go a bit wonky haha! Namaste everyone x

I started this journey over a month ago and have not done the days consecutively but none the less I always find myself coming back. Lately I have been feeling stuck physically and mentally and today really allowed me to realize how much yoga has done for me and that it is something that serves me well. confession. I was distracted today, or was I just listening to my body. I did this thing that I sometimes do with Adriene's videos: I found what felt good. I did the first set of the flow and then I got lost in what my body wanted me to do. I could hear her breathing cues and other cues that seemed to go amazingly with what I was doing at the time. I smiled at the end again. This is just lovely. I used to struggle with day 30 (solo time) but now, after three years, I'm almost HOME. Namaste.

My cat comes running when she hears the mat being unrolled. I adore her company but sometimes it can be a little hard to concentrate... I have had to pause the video more than once because she was making me laugh so hard 😂😂❤️

As I near the end of the practice, I start to realise how familiar I have gotten with this practice, along with the poses. Even though I am 12, nearing 13, and still feel like a kid in certain ways, being able to commit to this practice and notice these improvements have really shown me what I am capable of and how I am maturing. I will truly miss this journey and will continue doing yoga! ❤

My “forehead comes down gently to the mat” in the beginning was “forehead comes down gently to the cat”. My kitty loves to walk around and through all the poses we do. It’s pretty darn cute. 💕

Flash the cat was absolutely present for today’s yoga! Once I focused on my breath, so was I! After a wry neck day yesterday, I am happy to report reduction in pain and improved ROM today which meant a return to Home. With focused breath and the thumbnail foreshadowing, I was able to hold my standing splits (but not my breath! Thankfully) and even Flash was not trying to knock me off my focus. At the end, I held Flash’s paw and breathed easy, knowing I had nurtured my breath, my heart, my body, and my kitty cat! Thank you, Adriene. We love your show 🐾

I didn't want to get out of bed, but I did. I made a cup of tea and I came to the mat and now I feel more like myself. I am a positive, bubbly person, and I needed that practice today. I needed to move, to breathe, to integrate. These are tough times and I'm tired, but I will be there for these people who need me and I will give my all. Thanks Adriene!

Yesterday morning and afternoon I set up and cleaned up a philanthropy event for my sorority. I am so sore from carrying the pop-up tent and a bunch of signs! Glad I made it to the mat, moving always makes my muscles feel a lot better.

3 more sessions to go!! This is the highlight of my day, taking me away from my work! While others are staying home (and I thank them), I have to be at work. Some days are frustrating and difficult and other days are OK. But ending my nights with yoga gets me relaxed and calm.

I've been with you since 2015 and find it lovely the way you have evolved to integrate the breath with so much more intention than initially. Your HOME 30 day journey is the best of your 30 day journeys for me - particularly since I am recovering from an injury and have had to adapt.

This felt great today. I've had some aches and pains for a day or two but maybe the body just kind of catches up with itself integrating all of these practices from the past month and today I felt strong. Today is going to be a good day. Thank you Adriene❤️🙏🧘♀️

I integrated Mountain Pose today while peeling the potatoes! Normally I lean on one leg, jaws clenched and my mind busy with all the tasks ahead as I peel the potatoes as fast as possible. Today I caught myself stronglegged, loose shoulders and all focussed on my breath. All naturally and without effort :D Thank you Adriene!!

Today's practise was just amazing! I really felt the conection of my breath and the hole body, and at the end, when I closed my eyes I felt my heart beating for all trough my body, it was beautiful!!

this 30 day journey is really juicy! i am keeping up, and when i have “setbacks” i’m less harsh on myself because i know this is a lifestyle, not a quick fix. it won’t end with 30 days, so what’s the harm if i miss one day? i can’t explain we’ll enough how amazing it feels to do consistent yoga, which has been a goal of mine for at least 5 years. as a massage therapist, this journey has helped myself as well as my clients. the synchronicities i am seeing all around me are so beautiful; i am reminded to trust myself, this video, and the process. and our humble guide adriene 😌🙏🏽 namaste! 🙏🏽🙌🏽😌💕🧘🏽♀️

I love what yoga has given me in terms of easing my anxiety and cultivating my own self compassion. I'm slowly becoming ok with doing some more of the 'easier' movements sometimes, choosing the child's pose instead of downward dog today - recognising what my body needs and finding what feels good . I've found myself missing a few days for whatever reason and feeling bad about it but then I think to myself what would Adriene say lol and I'm pretty sure she'd say to be gentle with myself and know this is always there for me when i need it. I'm so glad I found this channel, thank you Adriene!

My four year-old strolls in at the end of the practice. "Mommy, I want to do exercise with you." Leans closer to the screen- "Better, I want to see her doggy." Pause. " Mommy, I see trees outside her window. Is it cold there? Where does she live? Is she still alive? One day, could we visit her?" ;) "Sure, Sweetie, one day maybe."

Integration. This was the theme of my entire day. Like a seed that finally springs forth. That’s how it felt for me today (off the mat). Something is clicking into place within me. This is so much more than a 30 day yoga journey. Miracles are quietly happening. “The struggle is for a reason...Stay connected (integrated).” Roots are strengthening. New neural pathways are being created. I had a magical moment after practice as I sat cross legged, hands to heart. I came into stillness, and in that instant I felt something that made me laugh...I touched something, and something touched me. The Universe is saying, “I got this. You just listen and respond.” “You made it. Now, open your wings” ~ Adriene (“Light” chakra series)

I have been wanting to write for the last 26 days but didn't know quite how to articulate it but to put it simply, thank you Adriene. I have had a roller coaster few years and have attempted your last few January challenges but only lasted a week or so. We have just moved into our dream home and I thought there is no yoga challenge that could be more apt. With fires raging around our beautiful country and so much stress and sadness, I was able to take a breath with you every morning and prepare for the day. I was just thinking this morning that I will have to build my own play list but are so happy to see that you have even planned ahead for me. Thank you Adriene. xxx

I started my Yoga journey on 1st Jan, this year 2021. I needed a focus and something constant. So I started one of Adriennes 30 day Yoga and found myself doing every one of her 30 day sessions with a few of her other sessions in-between when I got a lower back problem and then a bad cold- not Covid. Adrienne, you are simply amazing. I love your humour and you always seem to hit the right note in the practice. It has simply become something I do for myself.Thank you.
