I have lived in California for over 40 years, the first 40 years I lived in Amsterdam, my home country. My husband passed years ago. He was 15 years older than I We met on vacation in LA . He came to pick me and my 9 year old son up to bring me back to LA. I will always miss my home country but my family followed me to the US and my sister lives with me. My son lives two and a half hours away. So I am very lucky. We retired to Monterey, a nice little town on the coast. I will always miss my home country but my life is in California. I am a new subscriber and I admire the way you work on your house and still find the time to film it for us. The kids are so well adjusted and so cute ! I am glad I found you. Thank you for again for sharing your story. Home is definitely where the heart is. I lost my husband 5 years ago. We built this house in 1989. He loved this place and wanted to pass to our children so I remain in this home with the memories we made here. I so miss him but this is where my heart is.

My husband and I have been married for 47 years this June 19th. We have 5 children and 18 grandchildren and 3 great grands. Not one of our children live near by. Home is, where the heart is. We have moved from where we reared our children about 8 years ago. We have managed with Gods help to establish a wonderful new life. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I am HOME!!! Next stop my eternal home when Jesus comes. Hallelujah!!!

Once again nice to see that the house project has made further progress. Plan vanuit Nederland bruggenroute Denemarken, Botnische golf Zweden, oostelijke route naar het noorden en wie weet boog over het linker westelijke kustdeel v Noorwegen weer richting onze vertrouwde Lofoten, richting jullie. Nog geen idee hoe het loopt. Het is een enorme reis. Maar mochten we in de buurt komen …. 😊👍 Meestal startten wij met de Colorline Kiel-Oslo, maar de latere boekingen zijn erg duur geworden. We hebben weer erg veel zin in Noorwegen 🇳🇴
