I discovered this channel 5 days ago. I was searching for diy dumbbells on KZbin I didn't have dumbbells at home 5 days ago. After today(concrete still drying) I'll have a pair of 20/30/60 lb dumbbells. You guys earned a sub. I'll try some of these exercises tomorrow. Shout out to Buff Duke for the easy to follow tutorial.

Buff Dudes are leagues above other fitness channels because 1) they remembered that dumbbells exist, which many channels doing trendy "stay at home" workouts seemingly haven't and 2) they've actually sound treated their gym so it isn't an echoey mess.

Just bought the body weight pdf, after I complete it I am going to get the dumbbell plan, i got a pair of 20lb dumbbells but i hope the gyms are open by then, oh and if you ever come out with a buff dude ball cap i will buy that too, maybe it will even come in camouflage

It's funny: I got so used to lifting in gyms that I forgot about the effectiveness of basic exercises like the squat thrust with light weight. Being under quarantine has truly required me to become reacquainted with the exercises I used to do as a teenager in my parents' basement, when I had to do what I could with what I had.

Hey Buff Dudes, always loved your work! Want to start your program given all the gyms are closed now. Quick question, the dumbbells I currently own are a bit light for me because I bought them before I started going to the gym, and I cannot buy a new pair since they have sold out everywhere. Therefore, would the program still work if I increased the reps on everything to counter the fact that my weights are lighter?

that tip on not ego lifting is so TRUE. i was out for 5 days no lifting. just got a nice lighter workout in and feeling good again. 1 extra shitty rep isnt worth an injury, lower the weight.

Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.

Here's my home full body workout program if you want to try it out its really challenging. - Stationary dumbbell lunges 5 sets 10 - 15 reps - Standing dumbbell press 5 sets 10 - 15 reps - One arm dumbbell swings OR kettle bell swings 4 - 5 sets 10 - 15 reps - Dumbbell hammer bench press 5 sets 10 - 15 reps superset with pushups - Chin ups 4 sets 10 - 15 reps superset with dumbbell hammer curls - Renegade rows OR One arm dumbbell rows 4 sets 10 - 15 reps superset with lateral raises to finish workout -- Rest 60 seconds in between each exercise if you can handle the intensity, and if your really feeling it add in 3 - 4 sets of planks after finishing the lateral raises to cool down.
