In this video, Paula shows how to make a delicious, quick and easy creamy tomato soup without the use of cream, making this soup recipe very light. When making tomato soup, fresh tomatoes are always the best option, but good quality canned tomatoes will work as well. This dish would be perfect with a crusty slice of garlic bread!
Creamy Tomato Soup
1 35oz can crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoon olive oil
½ cup diced onions
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
¼ teaspoon black pepper or to taste
2 bay leaves
1 ½ cups Bechamel sauce or Greek yogurt
Basil leaves, for garnish
Balsamic glaze, for garnish (optional)
