Homemade Hot Cross Buns || SOUTH AFRICA

YEAST MIXTURE INGREDIENTS:
- 325ml of Lukewarm Milk
- 10g of Instant Dry Yeast
- 2 Tspn of Brown Sugar
DRY INGREDIENTS:
- 4 1/4 Cups of Bread Flour
- 1 1/2 Tspns of Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Tspn of Salt
- 1/4 Tspn of Nutmeg Powder
- 1/3 Cups of Brown Sugar
WET INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Tbls of Vanilla Extract
- 3 1/2 a Tbls of Softened Butter
- 1 Egg
WHITE DOUGH CROSSING INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 a Cup of Cake Flour
- 120ml of Water (or more if it's too thick)
- 1 Egg (Egg wash)
- 2 Tbls of Full Cream Milk(Egg wash)
GLAZE INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Tspns of Strawberry or Apricot Jam
- 1 Tspn of Golden Syrup
- 1 Tspn of Water

Believe it or not but I did apply some cooking spray. Maybe I didn't apply enough. I'm so used to just flying through my stuff. 😂 Thanks though.
