My friend sent me your video and was like look isn’t this what you use to cook for us when we were younger? It’s so yummy I’ve been making this since I was 6/7 years old started cooking at 4/5 years old. For me this was just my own version of a homemade hamburger helper I never realized it was an actual soup or an actual thing anyone else did. I loved deking mine up with lots of fresh mushrooms and spinach, andouille sausage, smoked sausage and a few other secret ingredients and spices! Great video and recipe. :)

SO THE ONLY ISSUE I GAVE IS DONT DRAIN MEAT UNTIL YOU COOK ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER THE GREASE FROM THE MEAT HELP FLAVOR IT ALL AND HELP BREAK DOWN THE ONIONS AND GARLIC. THEN STRAIN!
