Hi, many of you have criticized me and commented that there is no picture of the final result. First let's start with the title, this is a video tutorial to create the stencil! Second, it would be enough to open the description to see that a link is there and connects directly to the photos of the finished rifle! So dear unpleasant commentators start to open your eyes! I also confirm that the background song was made by me, it sucks, I know :-), but it should not even be the center of the video (next time I will mute it), in which, REPEAT, was made for show the only realization of the stencil! thank you all! however, I thank you all, because constructive criticisms help us improve!

This is such a cool and unique idea for a stencil, the way you can fold it around the objects you are painting is very convenient. The final pattern looks great too.

Awesome...! I've spent weeks looking for the easiest way to do camo painting. You nailed it. Criticized...yeah for easygoing and dumb people who haven't realized this is the easiest way among several other good ideas, but not the optimal one for camo designing and painting. God bless you, Matteo!

As I mentioned 8 monthes ago, I was concerned with the WD residue and I did receive feedback on this concern. One of the remarks was to use a silicon cookie sheet and this got me to thinking. I am now using the very paper thin cutting boards (sheet style) that can be rolled up and taken camping. I have tried Emers glue and Titebond construction glue, both work great and easy to peel off the sheet. Emers is alot cheaper. This video has made camo painting items extremely easy. Be creative with the designs.....THANK YOU Matteo for the ideas.
@maprojectnet6 жыл бұрын
Scott Gorman I see my idea like it! it's simple and cheap .. but there's a guideline on how to make the stencil. the residues on the stencil just dry them, among other things just paint them once to eliminate any remaining trace.

I worked at NIC making and spraying cerakote with many different Vinyl stencils. This is an amazing technique and extremely customizable. I plan on trying this myself the clear plastic is a good idea as you can put different designs underneath of it in trace them with the glue ticket different patterns. Supper cool vid!

Thanks for the great idea! I'm currently repainting a 2-man ladder treestand and wanted to do some camo. I was struggling with how to do it since it's only 1" square tubing. I've now made a flexible stencil thanks to you. I'm also going to spray it with some small plants and grasses to give it even more depth. Thanks again!!!!
@dwalker261016 жыл бұрын
Matteo, after reading through the comments I made another. I ruined the first trying to get the oil off of it when I really should've just gave it a light paint coating. I also want to say the comments inspired me to try another method. I made another using a hot glue gun on aluminum foil. I didn't coat it with oil and it wasn't too difficult to remove, just took some patience. It's more rigid but will also be more durable. I'd highly suggest it for flat pieces that you want to work fast with. Thanks again for inspiring me!!!!!

Nice idea I have done this with hot glue on warm glass. Another stencil I like to use is handy wipes reusable rags non woven it can be cut with random holes then fraying the edges of each hole this is a technique I learned in military model building it works well cause the small hole in the wipes expand when you cut between the holes into random patterns. Depending on the size this is very scalable. Try pam as a release agent for your stencils. Wd-40 didn’t work for me plus I stock Pam for glass bedding

So I tried this out. AWESOME here is some tips Instead of a folder, dollar store cutting mats work, don’t use the smooth/shiny side, after wd-40 it just ran off. I used glue and Mod Pog dimensional magic. Both worked good, Mod Pog seemed a bit stronger. I make one about every day, just to see what I can come up with.

great idea, I've been using a vinyl cuter and I can download the camo art but the vinyl is somewhat pricey to just use once I'm going to try and download some art and overlay the plastic and try the glue and also some silicone . I belong to a local gun club and have done about 60% of the members. Starting a round of arctic camo now and this will help. thanks for a great idea.

Thanks! This is the simplest and coolest way I've seen yet! I love the idea. I've don't some with mostly weeds and leaves that does look pretty awesome but it's very time consuming and if you try to use them more then a couple times paint will drip and ruin the whole thing making it take even longer. Also if you wait for them to dry you can't use them again either. Weeds a leaves do work but definitely not as good as this seems to work. I wonder if wood glue would work until I can get some paper glue lol.
