Best Mini review I’ve watched. I’ve had the original Homepod (and added a second for stereo) since they came out but couldn’t afford for the BR where I mostly listen to audio from TV so I have a cheapie Echo Dot. I’ve ordered one of these to replace it since its so easy to use for same (for instance say “hey Siri play CNN radio”). I have used Homepod for adding to lists when I’m cooking and become aware of something I will need-and do love that I can talk in normal voice to have the Homepod pick it up in a very large room. I’m guessing the Mini will do the same. I use the originals mostly for music but also multiple timers. Look forward to using Mini for a lot more commands (alarm, sleep timer, send message, etc). I don’t expect the same sound from the Mini as the originals but you’ve convinced me that I won’t be disappointed and I’ve ordered one and can replace the Echo Dot.

I wish you could un plug the cord from it and it have its own battery it already connects to your phone and then when its running low it switches over to using the outlet power while it charges that battery

Great video, I have one on order. The announcement is nothing new my Google Mini and echo dot has been doing this. I am curious on why on all these videos people won’t say Hey Siri. This will not activate anyone’s devices as it has voice recognition

The bass is still very strong... but does not distort the sound in the process

@@Techmeout if it ain’t vibrating the table it ain’t strong enough. Check out the devialet phantom gold. I know the price is no contest but the sound is to be respected. My point is people pay big money to “vibrate their tables” because that’s a GOOD thing when it comes to bass. That’s what bass does. 😂😂.
