Guessing Bayliss will be the fourth; can't imagine him in prison, especially after Pembleton couldn't give him absolution (rightfully so). Munch alludes to his suicide in SVU.

He had to give him an absolution. Had. But he, the great Frank Pembelton, didn't want to share someone's sin. He is so arrogant and non-empathetic person.
@skylx081210 ай бұрын
But in that SVU episode Munch says the one who "Ate his gun" was a partner he once had. Bayliss and Munch never partnered. But the little girl playing in the squad room was Adina Watson, she still haunted the place. They did have an episode where Falsone solved an even older child murder case. Maybe another would eventually solve Adina's.

Well, I don't like all that shit that they did with Bayliss. I think that in mental meaning, he wasn't so depressed on this case - shooting that bastard. It's happened because of finding the man who shot G and because of Frank Pembelton's presence, who "tired of confessions", he had it so many. Bayliss met him after so many years, he was as friend of him, even if FP didn't think so. It's happened, a collapse in his soul. He just wanted a friendly support, understanding, to tell finally this terrible hidden secret ... He asked FP if he feels some sorrow for that guy who shot G. Bayliss needed a friendly help, a sorrow, but not an arrest. Poor idealist!
@declangill513810 ай бұрын
Bayliss may not have been arrested. Pemberton doesn't want to arrest him, but Bayliss says if he doesn't, he'll kill himself. Munch in a season 3 episode mentions he once had a partner who took cases too personally and committed suicide. While we know Crosetti committed suicide, Munch was never partnered with him while in final season. However brief he was with Bayliss

In Law and Order Munch referred ti a homicide detective who became too emotional over his cases, and later committed suicide. Bayliss, who sits in the fourth chair. They even foreshadowed this, I like to think, in that 3rd season episode where Bayliss and Gee were in the latter's office playing "Hearts" while the other detectives listened to the game on the other side ofat the closed door.
@brianlong34296 жыл бұрын
I loved the show. Like Hill Street Blues and Laugh-in, they don't make shows like this anymore. I had three small problems with the end of the show and movie, in my opinion. Should have answered the story line of who actual killed Adeena Watson, how exactly Crosetti died, and if the person who killed Beau (George Cantwell) was ever arrested and brought to justice for killing Beau.
@katherynemero41183 жыл бұрын
Adena Watson was never solved in real life. I like that they didn't lie to us about that. Quite often, they had cases that were never solved. That's as true as it gets. Not everything is fixed and solved in an hour episode.
@jabarithomas72902 жыл бұрын
Adeena Watson was killed by the old black man who owned the ice cream truck. The man was an alcoholic who couldn’t get a real woman who sadly resorted to sexually abusing Adeena Watson until he finally snapped and kill her. The reason why the old man denied the killing is because of his severe alcohol addiction that led to him having memory problems.
